Modern Minimalist Home 4BR 5 Beds, AC Comfort & Wifi

Welcome to our delightful 4-bedroom home in beautiful Burlington! Perfectly suited for both short and long stays, our space is designed to make your time one to remember.

Enjoy the comfort of air conditioning throughout the house and take advantage of the grill for a relaxing evening meal. Located just 5 minutes from Skagit River Park and only 11 minutes from the world-famous Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, you’ll have easy access to some of the area’s best attractions. We’re also within walking distance of scenic Maiben Park—perfect for a morning stroll or afternoon picnic.

Please note: The backyard is currently unavailable as we’re working on improving the fence this coming up Spring.

IMPORTANT NOTICES:
We have updated and keep updating little by little to make our home more and more modern. You may notice some minor paint chips that were done while moving furniture. We’ve scheduled a fresh coat of paint for this winter, so thank you for your understanding in the meantime.

Washer & Dryer Access
For guests staying 7 nights or more, the washer and dryer are available for use. They’re located in the garage, which also stores some of our backup supplies, so we kindly reserve access for longer stays.

If you’re staying fewer nights and have a specific need, feel free to reach out—i will gladly provide them if needed!

Great for proximity to Skagit River Park

This is a great place for a lot of bed space near the Skagit River Park sports complex. It doesn't have a ton of individual personality but many people may prefer that. We would have liked laundry and a few more blankets but other than that - a great stay. Nice bathrooms, very clean.

I was really surprised at the property. To start the owner has changed the combination to get in the house a few days before we arrived and didn’t inform us do that was a scramble and that was the beginning of my disappointment There was not 1 picture on the walls, shower curtain in primary bathroom was just a cloth curtain, couldn’t get around the dining table without removing half of the chairs to another area, bathroom doors would not closed without force, towels were old dingy and not soft, no hand towels in the kitchen, patched spots all over the house unfinished, many of the walls and trimming were in dire need of paint. The fourth bedroom had no air and a hole in the wall behind the loveseat, none of the closet space was very useable with the 4th bedroom not having a closet but just a wall unit with hanging space but door wouldn’t slide and barely hanging on, all the beds felt like they would cave in if you sat on the edges. With the condition when we stayed in it I would not recommend this home and would not stay there again.

I’m truly sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We take all guest comments seriously, as they help us continue to improve the home. Since your visit, the bathroom doors have already been repaired, and one of the beds has been replaced (though no one has previously mentioned issues with them). Regarding the closets, most guests have found them functional, but it does look like the sliding door in the bedroom was damaged during your stay — that has since been addressed. We are aware of the patch spots you noticed, and instead of quick touch-ups we’ve decided to repaint the entire house for a fresh and updated look. The dining table has always accommodated past groups comfortably, but I’ll take your feedback into consideration and look at rearranging it to create even more space. As for the entry code, I do apologize for the inconvenience on arrival. We had just changed the lock and I provided the updated code as soon as you reached out, but I understand how that could have been frustrating. And with the kitchen towels, they were stored under the sink, but I wish you had been able to find them more easily. We value your feedback and will continue working hard to make the property more comfortable for future guests.

The big burner on the stove would not work. We felt the glass table was very dangerous. If you even put your elbows on it, it would tip and we had guessed that would run in to the corner of the glass table so we put a tablecloth on so they could see it. The deck was very nice to sit on. The beds were very comfortable. The house was very clean.

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the clean home, the comfortable beds, and the deck area. I do wish you had reached out during your stay regarding the stove, as I would have been happy to help right away. The large burner and small burner share the same knob turning it to the right activates the big burner and turning it to the left activates the small one so it’s an easy fix when shown. Regarding the glass table, thank you for sharing your perspective. It is a standard tempered-glass table, and we haven’t had prior concerns, but I will double check its stability to ensure everything is safe. As with any glass furniture, supervision of little ones is recommended in bumping into the corners.
