We’re Don and Tammy Murphy, your hosts. In 2021, we fell in love with this charming (run down) property and began a four-year renovation journey to restore the original 1947 home and transform the surrounding wooded acreage into a scenic, sunset-filled escape.

It’s been a true labor of love, and we were thrilled to begin welcoming guests in May 2025. We’ve poured our hearts into every detail to create a peaceful, cozy, and well-appointed getaway for families, couples, and friends alike.

Relaxing lakefront staycation!

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Don and Tammy's home. It was spacious, well maintained and perfectly equipped, and a short walk to the lake. We enjoyed a bit of kayaking, grilling and even sat in the pretty lighted gazebo enjoying the night sky. The hosts were very communicative and took great care of our needs. Great place to spend quality time with family and friends!

The place was wonderful! Even before check-in, Don was very communicative and made sure to ask about our preferences for one of the rooms.We had a fantastic stay — the home was very spacious, and the layout was perfect for a large family.The highlight for us was the beautiful lake view. We loved the outdoor seating area right by the water — perfect for relaxing with a coffee in the morning or unwinding in the evening. The kayaks were a great bonus and made for some fun time on the lake.We will definitely be staying there again when we're in the area!
