We had a great time at Steve's VRBO! It was the perfect central location for our bourbon tours and dinner reservations. We were pleasantly surprised with welcome basket containing ginger ale, water, popcorn, and items for s'mores. The hot tub was a great added bonus, and there were towels at the ready!
Just wrapped up an unforgettable guys’ trip to Frankfort, and this place was the perfect home base. The house was incredibly clean—every room felt fresh and well-maintained, which made it easy for our group to relax and enjoy the weekend. We came for bourbon and adventure, and this location delivered. It’s just minutes from some of Kentucky’s most iconic distilleries, so we hit the bourbon trail hard. After long days of tastings and tours, the fire pit and hot tub were total lifesavers—perfect for unwinding and swapping stories under the stars. We also made day trips to Keeneland in Lexington for some thrilling horse racing and spent time in Louisville soaking up the city’s energy. Everything was within easy reach, and coming back to such a cozy, well-located spot made the whole experience even better. If you're planning a guys’ getaway or just want a clean, comfortable place close to all the action, this house is a winner. We’ll definitely be back!

About the host
Hosted by Steve
Welcome to historic Frankfort, Kentucky! 👋
Let us introduce ourselves. I'm Steve (typing this up) and Andy. We have been friends for over 20 years with a passion for travel (we have collectively visited over 115 countries and 45 states). We thought it was time to use our experiences staying in hotels and Airbnbs and offer an amazing experience to those visiting Kentucky. Andy was born and raised in Kentucky, and Steve has visited the state often to experience the many distillery tours one can find within minutes of Frankfort. We both understand the importance of feeling at home while exploring new places. We are thrilled to showcase this charming 1920s home, where timeless character meets modern luxury.
Why they chose this property
We are so excited to introduce visitors to historic Frankfort, Kentucky. We chose Frankfort due to its old city charm, historic buildings (including the state's Capitol), and its proximity to so many of the country's best Bourbon distilleries. Frankfort is also conveniently located less than an hour from both Lexington and Louisville.
What makes this property unique
As you can see from the photos, this house is a stunning example of historic architecture. When we found this house, it stood out among the many other houses in Frankfort. This house's design, location, and charm convinced us to invest, and update this beautiful home.
