This is a great cabin to get away from it all. It is comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need. The host has gone above and beyond to provide what is needed for a comfortable stay. Town is not far if you need groceries or want to eat out.

Loved how close it was to lake and numerous outdoor activities. My teenage son was never bored. My husband and I relaxed on lake while he and older siblings ziplined, rafted, kayaked, and went swimming.Home had linens, towels, cookware, cutlery, wifi, and laundry room. Super clean! We cooked all meals at the home and spent time together. Showers were a bit small for 6 ft. 2 inch teenager, but for average parents and siblings they were just fine. Whole family wants to return asap!

A Perfect Mountain Getaway

This is an absolutely gorgeous luxury cabin with breathtaking views of the mountains of North Carolina from the living room and balcony! The stunning wood cabin made us feel like we were transported to a different time, but still with the convenience of Starlink Internet and Smart TV. Angie was an incredible host and provided helpful instructions and great recommendations. We enjoyed lunch and dinner at two of her restaurant recommendations and hiked the AT on a trail she suggested in her guide. She was super flexible with check-in and checkout and her responses were lightning quick. Overall, my wife and I could not have been happier celebrating our wedding anniversary at this lovely hideaway!

I was impressed with this property from the moment I pulled up. It's charmingly isolated, making it feel like you are nestled into your own little cabin in the woods. The interior felt spacious and well decorated and I'm obsessed with the windows. I couldn't get enough of the porch, what a lovely view! It was perfect with a little table I could work at or a little conversation area to just relax. The kitchen is very well equipped and easy to find things.I set myself up in the leather recliner and just about spent the night there, I was so comfortable. Don't worry, I did move to the bedroom, which was also just as comfortable. The house is a little creaky, but nothing too bad. I would absolutely stay there again and again. I also was obsessed with the telescope they have there!

Delightful

The Hideaway was just what the doctor ordered! We were tucked away on this mountain, watching the clouds (and a little rain), and it felt like all the craziness of the rest of the world had vanished.I pretty much travel to fish, and we had such a great time doing that every day (try RiversEdge Outfitters! Joy was our favorite guide!). But it was also a little hard to tear ourselves away from the house, which is a true Hideaway. We did the private "Quest" trail behind the house for a good workout and then relaxed in hammocks on top of the ridge. At first we weren't sure we'd find places to go nearby but the Kin Cafe in Robbinsville had a good selection of beers and a fun game night. Our hosts gave us plenty of ideas of things to do and answered questions almost as quickly as we asked them. Turns out there was plenty to keep us busy and tearing ourselves away from the Hideaway on the last day was hardest of all.Very clean and just as pictured! Can I give it 6 stars? Maybe 7? We will definitely be back and recommend to everyone wanting to get away from it all!

Perfect for our family! Stocked well with all necessary daily needs in kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of dishes and cookware for any meal you can imagine cooking. Close enough to town for convenience, but out enough to feel remote (except for the neighbors hound barking lol). Valley view is beautiful! Can’t wait to go back!

Throughout our travels in the southeastern United States, we have stayed in numerous cabins. However, this particular cabin stands out as the most exceptional we have ever experienced. Notably, the cabin possessed a unique and captivating personality.Upon your visit, you will gain a deeper understanding of my observations. More specifically, the cabin was gorgeous, unique, spacious, immaculate, and exceptionally clean. The host is rated a "Super Host" for a reason, and she went above and beyond with pre-travel, recommendations abundant throughout the local area and beyond, in terms of experiences; ranging from nearby restaurants, low-key, eating spots, to a plethora of athletic activities for the everyday nature enthusiast, hiker, horseback rider, kayaker, or car club attendee. The views from the cabin were breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
