Beautiful home, plenty of space, very clean, loved the rooftop pool- heated by the sun! Very short walk away from the beach..quiet&safe little town. AC worked well and fast. No grocery store or bank in the area so plan accordingly ahead of time :)Recommend downloading offline map if needed as service is nearly non existent (with Freedom Mobile).A few great local restaurants nearby.Host was quick and easy to communicate with.Would recommend this spot to anyone!

Quiet nature retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is very good, the surroundings are very green and peaceful. Perfect to relax with family! The house is comfortable and very well equipped. The only thing is that the maintenance was poor, the living room Tv, one fan, the pools filter was broken when we arrived. Also, the beach in contaminated due to the river. So I was not encouraged to dive in!

We also appreciate you highlighting the maintenance concerns and are truly sorry for the impact they had during your stay. As we shared with you during your visit, the issues you experienced were the result of an unexpected electrical fault with the generator in the area, due to a storm the day before your arrival, which temporarily affected some appliances. We made every effort to resolve these situations immediately, including providing a brand-new TV on the same day and addressing the other maintenance points promptly. Regarding La Bocana beach, we would like to clarify that it is not contaminated. The beach has the natural mouth of the river, and during the rainy season the water may appear unclear due to runoff; however, it is not polluted. We value your comments, as they help us to continue improving, and we hope to welcome you again in the future. MHV Team
