Beautiful Views

The chalet was beautiful, with the exception of the stairs, they were steep and hard to navigate. The 3 sets of steep stairs are the only negative comment. The property management were very nice to work with.We had to leave 2 days early.

Incredible Experience!

The cabin was amazing! Not only was it clean and spacious, but well furnished. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The drive up the mountain to the cabin can be a little treacherous, but we’ll worth it!

Awsome Cabin

Great getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was fantastic. House was clean, well furnishes. The view was spectacular. Follow the directions provided by management because Google maps will take you multiple ways up and down the mountain. Their directions were plain and simple and most direct. The drive up to the house is a bit unnerving after dark and especially in the rain with oncoming traffic, but we had the best tome and made it part of our adventure.

Smoky Mountains getaway! !

Loved the cabin! Will stay again. Only issue was with my friends. They took the upstairs master bedroom. They had to wash the entire bed linen. They were not clean and the bathroom floor was a little dirty. Other than that, nothings ever perfect, we enjoyed our stay, it was beautiful and fulfilling.

It would be a great place for a family with teens, because of the game room or for two couples, as there are two master suites on separate floors. Overall great experience. We would rent this place again. It was up high, so you would definetly want to take the weather and what you drive into consideration when renting.

Okay but not the greatest cabin we stayed in

Our group was all adults. We have been coming and staying in Gatlinburg for over 20 years. This was one of our least favorite cabins and would not stay here again. Pros: ☆cabin floor plan is great for 2 couples. ☆this cabin has a lot of seating. Couches, chairs, etc ☆cabin furniture was in good shape and comfortable. Cons: ☆pictures and description of the view is very misleading. 10 being the best cabin view we have had i would rate as a 2 max. We were expecting a great mountain view. Parking area misleading. Parked directly in front of steps out full size titan truck was almost in the road. ☆cabin was not as secluded from other cabins as pictures make if look. ☆basic of basic kitchen supplies. Example there ŵere not large mixing bowls big enough to make scrambled eggs. ☆ management company was easy to contact but not impressed with the servicing of the cabin. Called to report 1 toilet that was running nonstop. One that was clogged and no plunger in the cabin, hot tub temp buttoms would only let you turn the temp down. Also hot tub water was dirty ☆lots of trash in the woods around the property. ☆ in ice or snow the last 2-3 miles to this cabin even with 4 wheel drive would be challenging Due to location, what this cabin offers compared to others and cost compared to others. This is not a cabin we would rent again.

Anniversary trip

None of the outside lights in front are working. Had to use our flashlight at night. Downstairs door has been kicked in at some point, and deadbolt doesn't work. Some minor fixes needed, but great time overall.

Fall getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was beautiful! The beds were so very fluffy and comfortable. The view from the top deck was endless. The ONLY thing I was very dissatisfied with was it that was pretty dusty especially on all the decor and fake plant decor. I believe it would be a lot prettier and easier to keep clean if the fake greenery were removed. Also just a suggestion that the debris and windows really need to be cleaned to really appreciate the quality of such an amazing entrance!Overall though we had a very relaxing stay and really enjoyed such a beautiful setting!

Looks Good From the Outside

The check in process was very simplified and nice. Cabin is very pretty from the outside and great views. This cabin was very unclean and did hinder our stay. The jacuzzi tub in the room starting spitting out flakes of gunk, the outside hot tub smelled and had specks of black goo. Showers have mold growing in them, we had to wash every dish due to remaining food particles left on them, and the comforter had a stain that looked like blood. Not sure it’s worth the price for the off season also not quite sure why we needed to pay the cleaning fee for such a dirty place to stay. We will not be renting again from Aunt Bugs.

Do NOT waste your money on this cabin!!!

Online this cabin is beautiful. It was messy, ran down and unsafe. I had to clean two dog accidents from the bottom level as soon as we arrived, our propane tank for gas grill was broken, Aunt Bug's refused to deliver us another one - we ended up buying a tank so we could grill - dish washer leaks THRU THE FLOOR onto the bottom level. Looked under the sink and it has old water damage from this leak and they have tried to hide!! Take your family and money elsewhere ... you'll thank me later!!!!!!

Comfortable Cabin

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin. The key is that they keep the cabin free of unnecessary items that would just collect dust. The wood is smooth and finished so dust does not collect. Bravo! The key was that it is pet friendly. There was no evidence of past pets damaging anything in the house. Our dogs loved the balconies, and unless you have a tiny dog, the railings are close enough together that they are safe (with supervision). All kitchen items were in working order. Bathrooms were fine. Getting there is a bit challenging. It is best to have a navigator with you in the front seat, and unless you are very comfortable with the area, arrive when there is still daylight. After a few times up and down the mountain however, you get to know your way. This was a nice experience for my family. Ober Gatlinburg is just a short drive away. Very convenient.

A Short Get A Away

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the cabin fora few days to take our kids to Dollywood. The cabin is in an excellent location that provides a top notch view. In fact we watched the Dollywood fireworks show from the back deck. The interior of the cabin was basically clean, but the outside needs more detailed attention. There were a few cigarette butts scattered on the decks and some minor pieces of trash that had fallen near the trash receptacle. Aunt Bugs personnel were very nice and helpful, but we were inadvertently not provided with a pool pass. This required an additional trip back to their office to obtain. That was ok since we were going right by it anyhow, and it was taken care of. Overall it was a good trip and we would rent the cabin again.

Honeymoon gone bad!!

So we chose Gatlinburg to get married instead of Vegas because we thought it would be nice to stay close to home, so we rented a cabin. Couldn’t check in until after 5pm had to check out by 10am on check out day. TV remote wouldn’t control the TV, so no TV the first night or second day, scratch in the TV, master bedroom door busted, pilot light turned off of gas logs, tears in the couch’s, hair in the shower, no chlorine in the hot tub, water was low and was told to add water ourselves and when we told them there was no hose told us to turn the breaker off. Front step was broken and we almost fell every time we left out. Did I mention we had contractors knock on our door because they had a order to cut trees down on the side of the house? No parking at all. Will NEVER stay here again!! Oh did I mention this was our honeymoon?!

Christmas Vacation

The drive to the cabin is quite step, so be aware of that. If it snows, you definitely need a 4 x4 car to make it up on the mountain. The cabin itself its gorgeous, however the management should change the cleaning company ASAP. they probably just change the sheets and sweep after every stay, that's all; spider webs everywhere, dust everywhere, if you take a look underneath the beds you wont even want to sleep there anymore. also, there's no broom, mop, vacuum...nothing available so you could clean some stuff on your own. We had to go shopping for cleaning products. The owners should really think about putting some love into this cabin, it's a shame that they don't try at all to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. we do vacations rentals as well, we know how a house should be prepared for guests. Especially now with the Covid, I think cleanliness should be number 1 priority. We will definitely go back to Gatlinburg, but we will choose a different cabin for sure. Really unfortunate, especially with them having such a great view.

Great Stay!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin truly is beautiful. I read a lot of reviews on it after booking and was a little nervous based on some...But it turned out to be WONDERFUL! Yes, some of the windows could stand a power wash, Yes there were some dead bugs on the window sills - The beds and linens were all clean and comfortable. There is NO hammock as shown in some photos, and the grill didn't work -though that could have been a propane issue (we weren't bothered enough to take it to the rental office though)-and not something we would hold against the cabin/rental company if it were propane (they do an exchange program). The hot tub water appeared clean, and was nice and hot. The view from the top deck was wonderful! The lower decks were great, but the view not as striking due to foliage (its nature, it happens). The washer/dryer was amazing to have - nice to dry out our beach towels after using the community pool (which was nice as well) and to keep up with the laundry for 5 people. We saw bears near the cabin on 3 separate occasions, which was awesome! Once there was one walking right below us while we were on the lowest deck. The game room was fun, though there is NO CHALK for the pool cues, and the arcade game is a little dated -no pac man, really?- The kids (5, 12, 16) certainly seemed to enjoy it. The drive up to the cabin was a little rough on our vehicle - one evening when it had rained I had to engage the 4WD (Chevy Trailblazer)to make it up the mountain, so I would keep that in mind as far as which season you book in. Would we stay again? Absolutely! I would say it's a little overpriced for what you get, but I wasn't disappointed overall. REMEMBER TO RETURN YOUR POOL PASS!! There Is a $100 FINE if you do not return that little piece of printed plastic to their office.
