Welcome to Adventure Cottage, a fully renovated lakefront retreat on the peaceful and secluded Sand Bay Point in Door County. Tucked away on a private 1-acre property surrounded by beautiful forest, this charming cabin offers an ideal escape for adventurers, anglers, families, and relaxation seekers alike.

With top-to-bottom renovations completed in May 2025 and a new hot tub - you’ll be among the first to experience the updated beauty and comfort of this incredible home. (New photos coming soon!)

Accommodations:
Bedroom 1: King bed with bay view + Roku TV
Bedroom 2: Queen bed + Roku TV
Bedroom 3: Twin over twin bunk + full over full bunk w/ bay view

The Adventure Shed (Detached Garage):
A paradise for outdoor lovers and families! Enjoy access to:

-Bikes (including a tandem bike and children’s bikes)
-Kayaks & life jackets
-Outdoor games
-Fire pit (firewood not provided)
-Lawn chairs, coolers, footballs, Frisbees
-Fishing poles with light tackle
-Strollers and gear for little ones

Bonus: Property overlooks Larsen’s Reef, one of Door County’s top fishing spots.
Dock: A 40-foot pier is available seasonally (June to mid-September).

Hot Tub:
A 6-person hot tub will be installed by late and will be open year-round!

Outdoor Patios:
-4 seasons room at the back of the cottage with patio furniture and scenic views
-New composite deck facing the bay with both gas and charcoal grills
-Concrete patio on the water’s edge with 180° view of Sand Bay—perfect for coffee at sunrise or cocktails at sunset

Other Important Information:
-No RVs or campers allowed (per town ordinance)
-Dock is seasonal (June–September, weather and water level permitting)
-Guests must provide firewood and charcoal; propane tank available but monitoring fuel levels is guest’s responsibility
-Dogs only (with approval and $50 nightly fee); no cats
-$500 security deposit hold placed one day before check-in (only charged if damages/rule violations occur)
-No refunds for circumstances beyond our control (weather, bugs, etc.)
-WiFi is generally fast, but occasional rural-area disruptions may occur
-Unauthorized guests and exceeding occupancy limit are strictly prohibited
-While we follow strict cleaning and pest control, you may encounter insects typical of forested waterfront areas: mosquitoes, May flies, gnats, bats, mice, etc.

Management:
Adventure Cottage is managed by Little Adventure Vacation Rentals LLC and is a registered property with the Door County Tourism Zone. We take great care to offer clean, comfortable, and memorable stays—but are not liable for damage or violations caused by guests.
