Fabulous time, wish we could have stayed longer

My family came down to be close to the beach AND have a pool AND bring our elderly dogs. This was such a hit with everyone. We would enjoy returning in the future. The gardens, the pond, the outdoor kitchen, the games and the theater, it was a huge hit with our teen boys. Ryan was quick to answer any texts. It had everything we needed. Perfect. Thank you.

Great Family Vacation House

I don’t usually go into too much detail in reviews but this was by far the best vacation house we’ve stayed in and we do FL vacations every year. The house/location had something for everyone. Our group ranged from 8 to 65 years old. Not one time, during our week long stay, did a child say they were bored. The property was large and secluded. The pond with the fountain was beautiful. The outdoor kitchen area was great. The private beach just steps down the road was great for kayaking and fishing. The pool was kept at the perfect temp. The house AC was great (and that’s hard to do in FL). The kids and young adults loved all the games and the movie room. We’re already looking into booking it again for next year. An extra bonus is that it’s almost like an apartment down stairs (also where the movie room is located) so the kids preferred to stay down there most of the time leaving the main story quiet.

This property is very unique and has something for everyone. It has five spacious bedrooms (three upstairs and two downstairs). All were nicely furnished. It offers four full bathrooms (three upstairs and one downstairs). Our group of seven had plenty of room and there was plenty to do. We had family and friends visit us during the day. There is ample parking for families that have multiple vehicles like we do.We absolutely loved the outdoor spaces this property offered. There is a covered area that has an outdoor kitchen with a wrap around bar. There was also an outdoor couch, a full size table, a big screen tv with plenty of lighting for the evening under the covered outdoor area. The pool area overlooked the pond with a fountain. Around the property there were trees including lime and avocado trees.The weather was beautiful 84-85 degrees with a nice breeze to enjoy the outdoors. The one minute walk to the water is accurate, however there is a very small opening through the bushes to get there. The area was experiencing a king tide which is a very high tide so we never could see any type of beach area. There is a short drive to the beach. You can park at Varn Park and walk on the beach. My husband and I drove to Matanzas Inlet one day. About a 15 minute drive. You can park there and walk to the intercoastal and aroumd to the beach. A great place to spend a couple of hours or a full day. Perfect for kids, families, and dogs. There is lots to explore.
