You could also take the ferry over to Bald Head Island however you will have to park and leave your car. Golf carts are available for rent to drive around or you can take the tram. Bald Head Island features a historic lighthouse, "Old Baldy".
Oak Island also has a historic lighthouse and wonderful beaches. Plenty of restaurants and shopping as well; easy to make your trip a memorable one!
