Rebecca’s property provided the perfect backdrop for my northern getaway. The loft-style apartment was impeccably decorated and thoughtfully stocked with every kitchen essential I could need. Everything, from the bedding to the bathroom towels to the hand soap and lotion, felt luxurious and high quality. The plate of homemade cookies and samples of local wine were such a warm and welcoming touch – it truly put the experience over the top. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. If I could give it six stars, I absolutely would.

Charming is the perfect descriptor of this loft set above the garage of a beautiful ( and equally charming lake house) across from Lake Leelanau. Beautifully decorated in tranquil colors of Robin's Egg blue and peach, spotlessly clean, luxurious bath and bed linens and flowers in every window box this Air B & B is truly perfection. The bottle of welcome wine from Blustone Vineyards, the selection of quality teas, every possible kitchen utensil you'd need and even complimentary water bottles complete the perfection of this loft. Just across the street is a path that accesses the owner's dock, complete with lounge chairs for a peaceful glass of wine in the evening or s'mores (all ingredients provided!) made in the fire pit. If only all rentals were like this! Loved our stay!

Our first up north experience was magical, and the loft was a big reason for that. The location is absolutely perfect if you're planning to tool around the lovely country roads of Leelanau County. It's basically between 5 and 30 minutes from everything: Traverse City, Leland, Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear, several great beaches, and all the wineries, cider houses, and breweries you can responsibly visit in a week. The property is so beautiful. The dahlias were in bloom and just outside our door. I could not stop taking pictures of them. It also has private access to the lake with a cozy fire ring and comfy seating. We loved the loft set up and decor. It had a very upscale cottage feel - with a little bit of a vintage vibe. It had a sharp clean look with just enough art and decor. And every needed amenity and tool was there. All of the furniture, bedding, appliances, and dishware were so tasteful. The afternoon light shines through three big windows, making the place so bright and airy. When we arrived, we were greeted with a sweet little plate of cookies and a chalkboard welcome note with suggestions for an event taking place at a nearby winery while we were there, which we attended and loved. Rebecca and Scott were wonderful hosts, and we are already looking at calendars to see when we can head north next.
