Welcome to Sugary Sands—a beautifully renovated and professionally decorated oceanfront getaway featuring 2 oceanfront suites and 1 garden suite. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with gas appliances, spacious dining and gathering areas, and expansive upper and lower oceanfront porches perfect for relaxing or entertaining.

At Sugary Sands, we believe in making the most of Exuma’s endless sunshine—so we put it to work! In Fall 2024, we took a big step toward sustainability by installing solar panels. Now, nearly 90% of our power comes from the sun, helping reduce strain on the island’s limited power grid and allowing us to be better stewards of this beautiful paradise, while the rest of the island will be lighting candles you’ll still be enjoying the cool A/C, streaming your favorite shows, or relaxing with a good book. Just another way we make sure your stay is as comfortable—and eco-friendly—as possible.

Nestled on a wide, secluded beach just 5 miles from Exuma International Airport (GGT). Sugary Sands is a non-smoking, pet-free vacation rental.

First, I would like to thank Travis and Michelle for the graciousness of allowing us to rent their property. What an amazing place and such wonderful people to work with.I normally don't write many reviews, but the property amazing, everything was clean and in great working condition. The beachfront location was obviously amazing as well. My wife was in love with the decor inside the house. We had to change our dates a bit after we booked and Travis & Michelle were very easy and accommodating to our needs. Nicka, the on island property manager, was amazing. Such a blessing to have her throughout the whole process. We even got to meet her grandson, what a precious and adorable little baby boy!! I would highly recommend renting from them any chance you get. It was secluded but yet fairly close to everything. There is a newer small grocery store that is just a block away to get some basic supplies and food. Beds were comfortable, outdoor shower/s were fun and used by our family. They did have indoor showers as well. Very well supplied with modern conveniences and the fastest countertop ice make I've ever seen. 7 minutes for a batch of ice!! The only thing that I would ever change would be putting in King Size beds in the 2 very spacious upstairs bedrooms. Other than that, if time and availability permits, we will definitely be renting from them again. Incredibly Hosts and again, they kept in touch through out the whole process. Thank you so much. Excelente estadia en esa hermosa casa..la verdad tiene todo impecable...los dormitorios en suit son excelentes...el dormitorio de abajo es pequeño pero sin problemas...le agregaria un lugar para poner la ropa nada mas....el resto de la casa...la atencion de Nicka...todo excelente

We love the peaceful seclusion of Sugary Sands. It feels like you have the entire beach to yourself—yet you're still just minutes away from great restaurants, local eateries, and everything you need. We also love the beautiful Sunrises every morning!

What makes this property unique

Our home is nestled on an oversized lot with a serene, park-like front yard and a wide, secluded beach in the back that feels like your own private retreat. Inside, the first floor features elegant slate flooring, while the second floor boasts rich mahogany floors. Both of the spacious suites offer high ceilings and open onto a breathtaking balcony with panoramic ocean views. Another feature is the extra-wide staircase that leads you straight into the heart of the home—the kitchen—creating a warm and welcoming flow throughout the whole house.
