Newly redone triplex unit

This accommodation was beautifully clean (thank you!!) and newly updated. It was decorated nicely and had most everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable (firm in the principle bedroom, slightly softer in the bunk bedroom). Just to know: there’s no dishwasher, so expect to hand wash dishes—not terrible at all. We loved the ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We arrived on an unusual and extremely scorching day across most of the Northeast, so the cooling of the second floor, which probably is handled a.o.k. on a typical late June day, with shared A/C unit and/or open windows, didn’t work. While this may have turned some paying guests away, we very much appreciated the great lengths the host went to, to help us break the heat upstairs. Her constant communication and attempted sourcing of a solution was above and beyond—we were blown away. She trusted my husband’s construction and home building skills to put a fix in place, and not many hosts would have allowed or trusted the guests to resolve the problem like that. I get it—folks have been burned on both sides. She bent over backwards so that we could enjoy our brief stay, and it worked. The neighbors were quiet and did not impact our stay. Thanks for the hospitality!
