Colchester Vermont. Quiet 3 BR Lake Champlain cottage. Near bike path.

Two weeks still available in September. Charming 3 bedroom cottage only steps away from a great L. Champlain sandy beach and popular Burlington bike path. Kid-friendly shallow water. Lake views, shady, grassy yard and handy lakeside deck added for 2026. Two double kayaks, open kitchen/great room. AC and heat. Wifi, Smart TV, DVD player. Affectionately called the "Sand Dunes," this little community is a short walk or bike ride from the Burlington bike path, Airport Park, and the Causeway. We have 4 older bikes on site, or you can rent them locally. People are friendly, and the beach is beautiful. Two separate porches are ideal for work calls. Linens included. Please advise if you will bring your own. Sorry, no pets. Contact Mary with questions.

We have enjoyed this cottage for many years, and it's been a fun summer getaway for our children and grandkids. We are excited to share this little treasure with other families for a few weeks at least. I think we take it for granted sometimes, and it's wonderful to experience other families' excitement about features that we also love.

Why they chose this property

The beach is usually very quiet, and our grassy yard and new deck are perfect places to enjoy lake breezes and views of the broad lake.

What makes this property unique

We have great beach access. Another plus is the second porch. We are only a half-mile from Airport Park, with its fields, playground, and extensive walking/biking trails. In the other direction is the Colchester Causeway, where either biking or walking, you experience Lake Champlain on both sides.
