Towels are not really easy to find! The sectional on the ground floor, recliners do NOT work, no plug in available! Big disappointment since I had planned on my elderly parents to sleep in those automatic recliners. You need to be taller than 5' to safely get in/out of the bathtubs! All of them are at least 3 1/2' floor to step over into tub, I'm 4'11 and found it difficult to get in/out of the tub. NO LARGE pans for cooking!!!! We had to go back out and buy a pan big enough to scramble eggs for our group! Wifi is available, but didn't work well with my phone plan. Overall though, we enjoyed ourselves and family time is the best!

Hi Anna, Thank you for sharing your feedback and for choosing to stay with us. We're glad to hear that, despite some challenges, you were able to enjoy quality time with your family, which is what matters most. We appreciate your comments regarding the towels, seating, kitchen items, and bathrooms. We'll review the towel placement and inventory with our local team to ensure they are easier for future guests to locate. The recliners are not advertised as sleeping accommodations, but we understand your disappointment and will have the chairs inspected to confirm they are functioning as intended. We'll also review the kitchen inventory, including the cookware, to make sure it adequately supports larger groups. Regarding the bathrooms, we understand that the tub height may be challenging for some guests, particularly those with mobility concerns or shorter stature. While this is part of the home's existing layout, we appreciate the feedback as it helps future guests set their expectations. We're sorry to hear the Wi-Fi performance did not work well with your phone plan during your stay. Connectivity can vary depending on carrier coverage and device settings, but we'll continue to monitor the service to ensure it meets guest needs. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We're pleased that you and your family were still able to create memories together, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We wish you and your loved ones all the best and would be happy to host you again in the future.

The house itself was well maintained but the yard, dock, and porches were a different story! The hrass and weeds were so over grown. The porches were COVERED in spider webs and eggs sacs and spiders galore. Before being able to enjoy the dining table on the upstairs porch we had to kill all the spiders and knock down more spider webs than I’d ever like to remember. The sock was over grown with briars and was very unsafe. There were broken boards everywhere. There was also no football table as advertised. Over all we enjoyed our stay but he listing should be updated and the grounds need to be cleaned!! Thank you

Hi Erin, Thank you for your honest and detailed feedback. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed your stay overall, but I’m truly sorry that the condition of the yard, dock, and porches took away from your experience. Your comments about the overgrown grass, spider webs, and unsafe dock are deeply concerning, and I completely understand how frustrating that must have been. I’ve already scheduled a full cleanup of the outdoor areas, including pest control and dock repairs, to ensure the property is safe and enjoyable for future guests. I also appreciate you pointing out the missing foosball table—we’ve updated the listing to reflect that change and avoid any confusion going forward. Thank you again for bringing these issues to my attention. Your feedback is helping us make important improvements, and I hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide a much better experience next time.

The host was very responsive and we were able to check in early. Overall the inside of the house was clean and tidy. There were a few white towels that looked to have had makeup on them, but there were plenty so we just didnt use those. We appreciated that the property was pet friendly. The outside spaces were a bit of a concern. We were aware that the dock was closed, but both the back and front porches are in desperate need of repair. The wood is old and splintered. Also, the entire yard needed to be mowed which was a disappointment. I noticed that an envelope was left to tip the cleaning crew but I had no cash. Maybe leave a qr code so there is a place to tip electronically. Our entire stay was pleasant and the weather was gorgeous. Wish there had been a grill and I know now that I should always read previous reviews. I am making the same remarks that guests 6 months ago left.

Extremely DisappointedI’ve stayed in many vacation rentals, and this was by far the worst experience. The house was disgustingly dirty from the moment we walked in. The main bedroom smelled strongly of fish, and dust was literally hanging off every ceiling fan. The furniture was so dusty you could write your name in it.The bathtub on the main level had a strange white substance in it, and the shower curtain had black stuff all over it. Even the blind in the bathroom was broken. The element light on the stove stayed on constantly, which felt unsafe. Several shelves in the refrigerator were broken, and downstairs there was something on the bedding. The floors were nasty, and all the return vents were completely black. It was obvious this property has not been properly cleaned or maintained in a long time.I would not recommend staying here until the owner does a full deep clean and addresses the maintenance issues. I did reach out to the seller regarding all these issues and even sent pics.

This property was beautiful and perfect for our family size. Wish the dock area was more kept up and didn’t have so many Cobwebs on the porch.
