Brilliant property in excellent location

From first booking to arrival our host was wonderful. The year's delay due to local COVID rules was truly generous. The property is compact for 8 adults but has everything you need. Generous amounts of crockery and all kinds of cooking utensils are supplied. Beds are good quality and the linen/towels excellent. We loved the location, 100m to the ski bus and 10 mins walk to Sherpa, but especially the river walk which leads to the Grand Massif lift. Highly recommend this property.

Peace in the mountains

We had a lovely family holiday in Samoens. The chalet was very well equipped. There were a couple of issues which could have made the stay better but I am sure they are being attended to. There was plenty of space in the bedrooms but the main living area was a bit small for a group of eight and the kitchen area quite small for family cooking. Fortunately the weather was perfect for outdoor living. The chalet complex was very close to the amenities of Samoen.

Well located for Samoëns town and the Grand Massiff Express chairlift

The property is well located, 10 minutes walk from the town centre and about 15 minutes walk to the Grand Massiff Express chairlift bottom station. The ski-bus (Blue-Line) is 3 minutes walk from the chalet and runs to the lift station regularly throughout the day. We had eight in total in the chalet, of which six were adults, including two siblings and was cosy. Although the property sleeps more, it would be cramped with more guests. Other chalets and accommodations we have used have had a specific drying area for boards and skis: with six boards and two sets of skis, plus associated boots and helmets, the cupboard was just sufficient. As two families holidaying together, we had planned to self-cater for the duration of our stay. Whilst there is a four ring hob, the oven, grill and microwave are combined and was not suitable for our needs. The chalet is well set out, with unlimited hot water and is well heated. It was well presented, clean and tidy, with very comfortable beds. Whilst there is a dishwasher, but there is not a washing machine. The nearest supermarket is only an eight minute walk away. If bringing own vehicle there is covered parking adjacent to the chalet. Samoëns is a wonderful town on the edge of a great skiing and boarding area. Chalet I4, Bouton d'Or, Fermes de Samoëns is well located to explore the locality.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine en mars 2022. Le chalet est très bien équipé (cuisine, etc..) et relativement spacieux. Nous étions 6 + 1 bébé. Pas trop loin des œufs montant à 1600. Épandant y aller en voiture plutôt qu’en bus ou à pied edt quand même mieux. Très près du centre à pied où on peut y aller sans être sur la route ! Un petit sujet de plomberie lors de notre séjour, le propriétaire a été compréhensif et nous a proposé de rester une nuit de plus. Globalement un bon rapport qualité/prix/proximité centre ville/proximité pistes

Mauvaise gestion

Nous avons eu un petit soucis de surpression d'eau, ayant contacté la propriétaire et ensuite contacté par la gestionnaire française par SMS (aucun appel) à tout fait pour pas se déplacer une honte!! La propriétaire est vraiment trop sympathique. Par contre, l'accès au chalet est vraiment dangereux avec la route trés verglacer ainsi que les accés piétons.

Unfortunately the weather conditions and the pavements are outside of our control. Great you had snow in the village. Our property manager tried to help but you declined the visit until the next day. If you had messaged us as soon as this occurred rather than wait until 5pm the next day, the plumber could have attended that day. But this was offered that night and you declined. Unfortunately after this our property manager refused to communicate with you after you left an unpleasant voice mail at 12 midnight. This has not happened before.

Bon camp de base pour randonner

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour car le chalet est très bien situé et constitue un très bon camp de base pour randonner en montagne et profiter d'une baignade au lac aux dames après. Le centre de Samoens est à moins de 10 minutes à pied. La propriétaire est de plus très réactive et nous avons apprécié cette interaction. L'appartement est très fonctionnel et spacieux pour 4 mais doit être un peu étriqué pour 8 mais il est très bien aménagé avec de nombreux rangements. La petite terrasse donnant sur la grande prairie est agréable mais elle est proche des terrasses des autres appartements. Nous n'avons pas pu profité de la piscine car elle était toujours saturée (semaine du 15 aout avec jauge lié au covid). Une adresse à conseiller.

Bien situé pour les balades, proche centre ville, environnement très calme, très bien équipé et joliment décoré. La pièce à vivre étant petite, je dirai qu' il convient très bien pour 8 grandes personnes mais pas 9. Petit bémol, la piscine et le SPA étant fermé à cause de la crise sanitaire, nous avons demandé un geste sur le prix de la location et la propriétaire n a pas fait de réduction. C est quand même une location haut de gamme pour laquelle nous n avons pas pu bénéficier de toutes les prestations.

Très bonne situation pour le ski et le village. Place de parking couvert appréciable

Bon séjour dans cette résidence très bien placée et adaptée à huit personnes (pas plus, la pièce de vie n'est pas très grande). Ski bus au pied de la residence et village proche par une belle ballade le long de la rivière. Piscine modeste et peu chauffée. Seul bémol, le ménage n'était pas parfait. En conclusion, une bonne adresse pour la neige.

L’emplacement est top, le chalet est spacieux et bien organisé.. avec beaucoup d’accessoires disponibles... belle cuisine... organisation des départs et arrivées parfaites... Si je dois donner qques points négatifs...Un petit coup de Renovation serait sans doute à prévoir... prises arrachées, porte d’armoire détachée, porte rouleau papier Wc bringuebalant, trous dans le planché... fauteuils de jardin non disponibles... Manque de couteau...😜...

Great place to stay for skiing or snowshoe holiday

Heerlijk verblijf

We hebben hier met 2 gezinnen met in totaal 5 kinderen verbleven en we hebben een top vakantie gehad. De slaapkamers zijn prima, de keuken is goed uitgerust en er is een grote eettafel om spelletjes aan te spelen. Een aanrader!
