Rental Property Description : 30 night minimum
This cabin set in the trees is the perfect mountain retreat. Downstairs you'll find an open floor plan with fully updated stocked kitchen and wood burning fireplace in the living room. Two bedrooms upstairs offer comfort and privacy after a day spent enjoying the endless outdoor activities of the Lake Tahoe area. Convenient to Heavenly Ski Resort, Camp Richardson, Lake Tahoe sights, shopping and activities, restaurants, hiking, biking, and more! Linens, towels, BBQ, hammocks, DVD player, three T.V.'s, one is a smart TV, 2 are Roku only. Washer/Dryer combo. Back deck, fenced yard. Cable and internet/Wi-Fi provided. Bike trails all around and 11 minutes by bike to Tahoe's favorite beaches: Camp Richardson, Pope Beach, Kiva beach. Located in the Y, Tahoe Island area quiet woodsy, private. New updated pictures to follow soon. New T.V's, washer dryer, updated kitchen and appliances.

Great experience

Very nice cabin and location. Feels in nature while also being close enough to everything in South Lake Tahoe. Hosts are extremely nice and communicative ensuring a comfortable stay.

I Love This Cabin

My family had a wonderful time at Paul and Francoise’s cozy cabin. The cabin is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood conveniently located to bike rentals, Camp Richardson, hiking trails, yoga studios, golfing, fishing and more. We created lifetime memories and can’t wait to go back next year.

Great escape!

Great forest retreat in the middle of civilization. We came up mainly to escape the heat and smoke in Folsom and that we did. Our dog loved the yard and so did we. The cabin had everything we needed with several dog friendly hikes near by.

We came to The Cabin with an old friend of mine and couldn't have been happier with the cabin, the property, the neighborhood, and the location to South Lake Tahoe. The Cabin was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Our dog loved the fenced in yard and walking the neighborhood. Jalapeno Restaurant up the street is great for breakfast and a nice morning walk. Cute Cabin in South Tahoe!

The cabin in South Lake Tahoe was great. The check-in process was very easy, and the cabin was even ready early for us. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the front drinking coffee under the pine trees in the morning. The backyard was perfect for our dog. The place was well equipped and had everything we needed for the week. The location is great - it doesn’t take more than 10 minutes to be at the beach, dog beach, grocery store, or hiking trailhead. Francoise was very responsive and helpful. Overall, it felt like we were staying at a family member’s cabin!

A Gem!

Our stay in "The Cabin" was perfect. Plenty of space for two adults and a lab. Every possible thing we needed was right at our finger tips! Modern conveniences in a wonderful scenic location. Cute cabin in a good location

The house was fairly well equipped and we loved the neighborhood, quiet and close to the bike path and convenient to stores, restaurants and shopping. In general I think a good value. Francois and Doug were easy to communicate with and available should any issues arise. Some negatives were that it was quite hot during our stay and only a few of the windows could be opened because we didn’t want our cat to get out or the bears to get in! There were no screens. We were glad we brought an extra fan to supplement the 2 provided. The shower is quite small and the bathroom downstairs far from the bedrooms which might be an issue for some people.

Nice cabin for the family vacation

We had a lot of fun staying in this cabin. Perfect location close to the ski resorts and shopping centers. Owners are very nice people. They took care of us helping with accommodation.

Cozy Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy, but spacious feeling cabin. It was in the perfect location to all that Lake Tahoe has to offer. The cabin had all the basic amenities, and had very comfortable beds and pillows. We were thankful for the fans in the bedrooms, as it was hot at night. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks under the trees, and eating and cooking on the barbecue outside on the deck in the backyard. The backyard was perfect for our dog. We would love to come back to stay when we come to Lake Tahoe again.

Summer Cabin Comfort

The cabin Paul and Francoise have at South Lake Tahoe is full of comfort and comes with the feeling of a home away from home. The two bedroom getaway that I booked for myself and boyfriend, and my mom was perfect for our weeklong hybrid camping/cabin stay at the lake.

Adorable Tahoe Cabin

We loved our stay at Francoise and Paul's property. The cabin was perfectly homey and close to all of our favorite haunts. We're happy we discovered this place and plan on booking for future Tahoe getaways. My husband and I were looking for a small cozy place that would put us close to the beaches for the summers, and skiing for the winters. We were very lucky to find this cabin as it gave us the true Tahoe woodsy feeling but was close enough to everything to make life easy. We found the perfect get away .
