The property is set in a stunning natural setting—each morning we woke up to peaceful, beautiful surroundings that invited hours of exploration. It’s conveniently located, not far from the city and easy to find. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helped make our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway or a nature-filled family vacation.

Loved staying at this homestead with our 2 older kids! What a view! Definitely book this place if you want a taste of what it’s like living on a farm in PEI! We loved every minute of it.

We had a wonderful, relaxing week at this rustic farmhouse on the mouth of the Clyde River. It was exactly what we expected, based on the description. Tiernan was very responsive in answering questions, and provided a guide on how to get the most out of our vacation on this beautiful property. The views from the lawn chairs and hammock were breathtaking, and the antiques throughout the house provided a charming atmosphere. In early August, it was very warm during the days, but we never needed the air conditioning. The kitchen and living areas were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Kayaking in the mouth of the Clyde River was peaceful, with no powerboats in sight. From the farmhouse, we toured all over the island on easy day trips to Thunder Cove (dog friendly) Beach, Cavendish and Greenwich Dunes, as well as short outings to the Matos Winery, Canoe Cove; and of course, many trips to Charlottetown for Cows ice-cream and nice dinners. We highly recommend this vacation home for a quiet island getaway.
