Spacious Penthouse with large wraparound balcony, bathrooms and flooring are a little dated but the kitchen is updated. The South Wind complex is well maintained with lots of amenities.

This property was great for what we needed it for, especially for a weekend stay with the kids. The amenities were great, and the outside of the property is beautiful. The view was also absolutely gorgeous.The condo itself, however, could use a good deep cleaning and some updating. The back bedroom with the two beds was a great room, and the AC worked really well back there. The two middle bedrooms were a good size, but the beds were extremely hard, and the pillows were very fat and hard. The master bedroom was similar—the room was a good size, but the bed and pillows were also very firm.The two bathrooms outside of the bedrooms could definitely use a deep cleaning. The sinks were clogged and drained very slowly when brushing our teeth, and some of the bathroom fixtures and items had noticeable rust.The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. The living area and dining table were also a good size for our group. The couch is starting to show its age, and the cushions are beginning to cave in a bit, but it was still functional.There were tiny little bugs on the balcony. They were biting us quite a bit, so I would recommend keeping the doors closed as much as possible. We did find a few inside the condo as well. Overall, the property worked well for what we needed for a weekend stay. With a thorough deep cleaning and some updates to the beds, bathrooms, and furniture, it could be an even better place to stay.

Family vacation

Came to celebrate daughter’s 17th birthday and had a total of 8 people. The space was perfect for us, the beach being so close was amazing!! Having a fully stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking and making snacks for 6 teenagers. The host was easy to communicate with and we will be staying there again!

Location is awesome, communication is great. It does need to be updated, the carpet is torn in one of the bedrooms, garbage disposal was leaking. Otherwise, we still enjoyed our stay

Wonderful beach spot

Our group of 8 had a wonderful time here. The condo is spacious and comfortable. The wrap around porch is lovely and has a great view. The multiple pools were a huge hit with the kids in our crew. A couple of restaurants walkable and others a quick drive. Definitely recommend!

Very nice location , if traveling with older adults not very friendly bathroom utilization not ADA compliant at all. Not all TV’s would work properly, could not control temp in the unit at all. Entire unit needs to be refreshed with new furniture as well. View and space on balcony was the best part and location

Great Location

The property was clean and served well for a group of 8 in 4 separate bedrooms. The beach is at your doorstep. The pools were clean, but hot tub jets weren't working. Lots of excellent restaurants within minutes, as well as access to central Myrtle Beach via Ocean Blvd.

Amazing View!!

Our group of 8 had a great time. The condo was perfect for a large group. We didn’t feel crowded at all. Had an issue with the AC shortly after checkin, but they were super speedy and sent maintenance up right away to fix it. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!
