Centrally located condo in N. Myrtle Beach. Expansive wrap around deck and well planned living/dining area. The views are magnificent. Great little escape upstairs with a private loft and getaway room. Best of all -- your own private lounging deck off the primary bedroom. Enjoy!!

Location was good. Parties, loud music and fire works every single night until after 3 am. People even did fireworks off their balconies into the pool area but security couldn’t stop them. Definitely would never do a family vacation here again. Family was woken up ever single night due to the noise. House did have beach chairs and toys which was nice. Cleanliness was ok..

The room was not cleaned properly prior to our arrival. The 1st bathroom on the main floor was missing a cabinet. The sheets had stauns on them.i called the front desk that the bathroom upstairs was unlocked and people had access to the rooftop.

Missing charm

This place would be so much nicer if it was owned by an individual and not a property management group. all in all it’s a nice place, but like some other reviews state there are weird quirks that should be addressed i.e. an open utility closet adjacent to the kitchen and a closet in the bathroom that opens to the roof with a door that doesn’t close letting sunlight and noise and heat in. The master bedroom has a great picture window that could easily be cleaned from the main balcony, but instead has specs of Junk and a huge flop of bird poop distracting from the otherwise beautiful view. The building is in a location above the neighboring pool and in front of a high-rise condo so you get a lot of noise all night. The property management company is quick to respond.

We really enjoy staying here. Plenty for kids and adults to do and great access to beach. The place is spacious & accomodating. We stayed there before and we feel it now could use some updates. There was an outlet at the divider wall between the living room and dining room on living room side that was loose and the wiring was exposed r 16 month old grandson kept pulling it and grabbing the wiring. My son in law had to fix it. Also the patio doors need attention. They are hard to shut and open and were dirty. The decks carpet could stand some attention or replaced as well. The big thing is the fungus growing through the ceiling in the kitchen.

Myrtle Beach Vacation

Overall the property is good. Great views, plenty of room. For the price could provide extra toilet paper, paper towels and the like. All of the sliding doors were difficult to open/close and impossible for children to open/close. There during a tropical storm and unit got extremely warm and humid. Found that the door to the rooftop in the upstairs bathroom blows open about an inch though locked and the drawers in the corner of the upstairs loft blew open from wind and both caused hot humid air to enter. Carpet was dirty in master bedroom. Would not call the unit "luxury." Part of a much larger complex (Grande Cayman Resort) making it more crowded and louder than expected. Unit could use some maintenance and upkeep. Easy access to the beach.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The penthouse is beautiful and as described.Beautifully decorated and very clean. The problem is where it is located. We had people in the pool at the Grande Cayman resort all hours of the night screaming and yelling. Also had fireworks going off every night that we stayed at the penthouse. July 3rd was unbelievable. Noise and fireworks going off until 3:30 in the morning.I would not recommend this rental to anyone that wants a nice quiet vacation. It is a shame because the penthouse was absolutely perfect.

Thanks for the review and nice comments about the condo. Yes there are many fireworks around July 4th and they are loud, this is anywhere on the beach around the July 4th holiday (not just here). However this is just during July 4th and not typically like this the rest of the year.

Description very misleading!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When walking in we were met with stairs. Nowhere in the online description did it mention that one of the bedrooms was upstairs - we were a group of 75-80 year olds and would not have rented with one of the bedrooms upstairs. Also one of the bathrooms was not attached to the third bedroom - not good!! The description also mentions "premium linen package" - we had a couple of ragged washcloths plus a very stained one!!! The towels look like they came from Walmart several years ago. One of the blankets in the 3rd bedroom was very soiled. These problems do not indicate a LUXURY penthouse.

We are sorry about the confusion and have updated our description to indicate the condo is two stories and master is on the second level. The reason the third bathroom is not private is because its also used as a common bathroom. We have very high standard for our sheets and towels and im sure this is an oversight but will be meeting so this does not happen again.

Family wedding. The place was just as pictured. Beach asses was easy. The pool was closed, but we were able to access the outdoor & indoor pool next door without difficulty. The indoor pool (which are not my favorite) was descent for the kids, but not as good as some of the children’s amenities at the nearby hotels. There was construction on our floor, which we were not warned about. The daytime noise wasn’t too bad, but the elevators were in constant use because of it. The water was turned off for part of one day as well, due to the construction. Check out was a bit difficult, due to the fact that luggage cart was missing and constant waiting for the elevator.

Reviewer Comments: - Spacious condo: Accurate description and pictures- Easy check-in/out procedures: Did not need to contact management company- Incredible views from the multiple balconies (fantastic sunrise views)- Easy access to the beach (condo has beach gears like chairs and umbrellas)- Clean condo upon check-in- Well maintained property (condo + external areas) but showing age due to its proximity to the ocean (salt effects)- Kitchen adequately stocked- Comfortable beds- Living room could use a recliner chair (sofas are OK)- Upstairs bedroom sometimes feels warmer than rest of the condo but ceiling fan can help (thermostat located on 1st floor)- Savoy tower is quiet all day (Cayman resort next door not so much during the day, but quiet at night)- Dedicated covered parking spot, maybe tight fit for large SUVs (4 parking spots for visitors on first come basis)- Did not use Cayman resort amenities (good experience at Starbucks though). - Great location between Grand Strand and North Myrtle Beach- Enjoyed our stay and going back in January

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just returned from our visit at the Savoy penthouse 601. We loved the condo and enjoyed our stay very much. Loved all the rooms and I had read that the loft was warm and we did find that to be true. The parking was so easy and so close to the condo. There were just a couple of things that could have been done in the condo. The glass sliding doors in the living room were dirty with hand prints all up and down. You could tell that a young child had been there before. All the doors to the balconies were very hard to open. Some care to get those oiled would have been helpful. The turf on the balconies really needed some care as they were dirty and worn. And we had to purchase ice as the ice machine in the fridge did not work properly. Maybe 20 pieces of ice fell the entire week. Other than those few minor problems it was a wonderful week. I would return to that condo and stay any time that I get a chance. Beautiful condo with amazing views of the ocean.

Needs some TLC but great space for a family

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room had ample space for our family (2 parents plus 3 teens) and our parents. The balcony space was plenty. The condo could have been cleaned more thoroughly. It is also showing wear and tear. The couch had a rip in the fabric, hole in laundry door, sliding glass door in dining room was very difficult to open, and stain in upstairs hallway. Also, refrigerator took 24 plus hours to get cool. When we called about refrigerator they said this was known issue. Upstairs temperature drastically different than downstairs due to only one thermostat. The pool was only cleaned twice during the week. On positive note, the layout is fantastic in condo and kitchen. It was very nice having a washer and dryer in the condo too. It was close to all activity and the lifeguards in the area were great. Teenagers enjoyed the entertainment at the pools and amenities. Enjoyed having a puzzle and books in the condo to use. The rental company made the process very easy.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I think you misunderstood what we were saying about the refrigerator. Housekeepers have to clean the refrigerator prior to your arrival and has to have the doors open for an extended amount of time. Then when guest arrive they fill the refrigerator full of items that aren't cold. Any refrigerator would take a soild 8-12 hours to get to the optimal temperature. I hope this makes better sense. We have had one of the hardest years in our lives, so having the amazing views and patios this condo offered was wonderful! First of all, the beach access is literally steps away from the elevator, as well as the pool. Condo was clean and spacious. The elevator was scary, we literally held our breath every trip up and down. It felt like it need some major attention. We used the umbrellas and chairs in the closet. However, probably a good idea to bring your own. One chair was rusted and an umbrella broken. It felt like they were things people left behind. Make sure you turn on the ice maker first thing when you arrive. The glass window in the upstairs bedroom was my absolute favorite, however, you can hear the young kids playing at 2 am (or in our case streaking to the water.) Fireworks we’re set off one night, but we had fun with it and just watched. The maintenance of the resort seemed to be lacking. However, it’s hard to tell if that was just them getting things back up and running after Covid. We met a couple who had stayed at this resort seven times and they said it was the dirtiest they’d ever seen it. Beach is beautiful. Drink hut was wonderful. Starbucks on the property was perfect! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and take my chances with the elevator!

For what we paid for this week, this was very disappointing. Upon our arrival we were very confused and angered by the fact that it was not cleaned well! The floors were not swept, we had to sweep. Not vacuumed, we vacuumed. There was food found upstairs in the loft on the shelves. The balconies were filthy especially the main balcony and windows were filthy inside and out. The tables and chairs were dirty and the floors had so much sand and debris. The Dining room table was not set up with decor, it was all sitting on the ledge. The bathrooms were not all fully stocked with towels in all the bathrooms. The twin bed in the loft was not made with sheets, they were left rolled up on the side and the comforter placed on the bare bed was dirty and we had to wash it. There was No sheets, bedding or pillows left for the pull out couch. The hair dryers on the walls in 2 bathrooms did not work. One of the sliding doors to the room with the washer and dryer would not stay on the track and to be taken off twice. We ended up leaving it off. The kitchen was poorly stocked and the kitchen sink leaks. The Lobby in the parking lot area where the main elevator is smelled so bad the entire week, it was awful! There are lots of areas in need of painting and the railing to the upstairs looks terrible. The bed skirt in master bedroom is filthy. The balcony doors and main door are very difficult to open. Overall it was a beautiful property but the upkeep and maintenance was poor.

The loft gets a little warm but other than that it was perfect! The staff at Luxury Beach Rentals was fantastic to work with. Would highly recommend this condo and Luxury Beach Rentals.
