Make yourself at home in this fabulous 1-bedroom Athens retreat. The location is close to UGA without the hustle and bustle or traffic and noise. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and shopping within a few minutes’ drive. This serene space offers a cozy Livingroom, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The Hideaway is a short walk to a tucked in back yard oasis where the hot tub, fire pit and serenity of nature awaits. The entrance is private and affords a game room with pool table, darts and a comfy chairs to boot. The living/sleeping quarters are nicely decorated and more than comfortable, just like being at home. The kitchen is well appointed and has a full-size fridge, keurig coffee maker and nugget ice maker! The bathroom has a spacious rain head shower with handheld. With amenities like Wi-Fi, AC, 55" TV / Fireplace, Full Kitchen, large closet, Fitness equipment, and walk in shower. Guests can unwind in this tranquil space with unobstructed views of the wooded area that has deer wondering by. Also, outside you have a huge Deck with BBQ, and TV. There is plenty of parking available. A great place to call homebase while you're away, we hope you enjoy your stay. Futon available if guests are booking more than 2.

Very good experience! The place was extremely clean with lots of space for the two of us. The host was prompt and easy to communicate with from initial inquiry through checkout. Very convenient location easy to access multiple destinations around town. We will look to stay at Norm’s place again on future trips to Athens.

The host is very friendly and easy to work with. He messaged after we checked in to make sure everything was satisfactory and responded quickly during our stay. The apartment has a homey feel to it. The pathway to the apartment after parking is uneven with cobblestone stepping stones and a wooden deck with uneven steps going down to the apartment. It wasn’t a problem for us, but anyone with mobility issues should be aware of this for accessibility. The bed was comfortable as was the couch. It was nice to have a kitchen to cook in. I think a nice addition would be to add a small table to sit and eat at. There was a tv tray available to eat at the couch with and that worked for us. The shower is a step up and half open without a curtain. I think a half curtain would be a nice addition as it can feel drafty in the shower. Everything is pretty and decorated well though. They have plenty of towels, toiletries, and dishes available for use. Even a small hair dryer in the bathroom and a make up towel. Overall, we had all the comfort we needed to have a very relaxing get away.
