COMMUNITY: DeBordieu Colony is a very private oceanfront gated community located near Pawleys Island South Carolina on the coast between Charleston and Myrtle Beach. For a fee, most homes and villas offer onsite private DeBordieu Club amenities such as golf tennis and multiple dining options to DeBordieu Rentals guests. Our natural amenities include miles of beach and tidal creeks an on-site nature preserve with walking trails and bike paths and a delightful year-round climate. DeBordieu is more than a vacation destination it is also home to a small number of fortunate folks that enjoy the finest Lowcountry Lifestyle as either permanent residents or second homeowners. Come visit DeBordieu for a few days or a week and you may decide to stay forever.

Beginning March 1st! BEACH GEAR INCLUDED: Peace Vacations has partnered with VayK Gear to offer beach gear rentals to our guests! Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights receive a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $50 a day. You may use this credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts and more - the choice is yours!

Maximum Cars: The maximum number of cars allowed for this property is 6. The DeBordieu Colony Community Association charges each vehicle a $20 fee to enter the community, up to a maximum matching the number of bedrooms in the rental property.

Membership: This property has a Golf Membership which gives you access to the 2 pools at the Beach Club dining tennis and golf. A temporary club membership can be arranged for $200 a day fee. This lovely 2nd row home has spectacular views from the large 3rd floor great room with a gourmet kitchen and dining area. It also features 6 bedrooms 6 baths and 2 half baths a 2nd kitchen downstairs, 2 whirlpool tubs, large sun decks and screen porch on 3rd floor, downstairs den with pool table, wireless Internet, gas grill, 4 flat screen TVs, DVDs, outside shower, and a 2 car garage.Sleeps 20. Sleeping arrangements are: King Master, 3 King guest rooms, Queen guest room with bunk beds and a Queen guest room with a Queen sleeper sofa plus additional day bed and trundle. This home also has an additional Queen sleeper sofa, daybed and trundle in downstairs living room. Mull Cottage

This is the second {and last} time we rented Mull. Last year the elevator was out until Wednesday. We especially wanted the elevator due to my wife's knees. This year it was out again and they didn't get around to repairing it until Thursday afternoon. The grill was filthy, with old food caked into the cooking grates. My granddaughter found an empty beer can in her room. A pair of lady's underwear was found below the foot of one mattress. The wet bar continued to be non-functional. Finally, two seperate leaks were found during a rainstorm. One of them came in a window above the downstairs stairway, making it slippery and dangerous. Of course we couldn't avoid it because the elevator was on the blink. For what we paid for this place if would have expected much better conditions. I believe we are due compensation.

Great house, great location, great time

Very much enjoyed our stay at Mull Cottage. It has a nice set up for families with folks of all ages. The younger crowd enjoyed the ground floor bedrooms, kitchen and pool table while the adults enjoyed the spacious middle floor bedrooms and bathrooms as well as the entire top floor. And the beach is minutes away. The new elevator was useful but very loud and often needed to be reset to work.

Excellent

As well as being well stocked,the owners labeled everything to make the kitchen experience easy.The house was nice and quiet for a large family. My only suggestion is to utilize the top screen porch better. We would have preferred rockers or comfy chairs out there rather than the tables.

We enjoyed the property very much. AC on the ground floor was not working well at first. Prompt service helped but it still lagged behind the AC on other floors. One negative- no outside garden hose to wash off beach chairs, toys, etc.
