What a place to start our Alaska adventure, spent 3 nights in the tiny modern house just a few minutes outside of Seward. House easily had enough space for family of 4; super clean since i believe it was just built. Fully stocked with cooking utensils, cups and flatware. Mini fridge, microwave and air fryer were a bonus ! we were greeted with two black bunnies every morning in the front garden, thank you for sharing your space with us.
Absolutely wonderful property. Back away from a busy road and nice parking. The tiny home is expertly done. Some of my family that stayed here just loved it.
Very clean, cute, well stocked place - perfectly located and friendly hosts! Would highly recommend staying here!

Hosted by Diana Davis
We are an Alaska family-owned business with deep roots in this beautiful place we call home. As a multi-generational Alaska family, we grew up exploring the mountains, forests, and waters that make this area so special.
From designing and building our spaces to welcoming guests and caring for the property, our family is involved in creating the experience you enjoy during your stay. We built Last Frontier Lodging with a desire to share the same love of the outdoors, adventure, and connection that has shaped our lives.
Our goal is to provide a comfortable, welcoming place where families and travelers of all sizes can slow down, make memories, and experience the incredible beauty of Seward. Whether you are visiting for a once-in-a-lifetime Alaska adventure or returning to a place you love, we hope your stay feels like a home base for exploring the outdoors that have been part of our family’s story for generations.
Why they chose this property
One of the things we love most about our location is that it gives you the best of both worlds — easy access to Seward while still enjoying the peaceful beauty of Alaska’s outdoors.
Located right along the scenic Seward Highway and directly on the way into Seward, our property is only about 5 minutes from town, making it easy to enjoy restaurants, the harbor, excursions, and local attractions while still returning to a quiet Alaska setting.
Many guests love that our property offers the beauty of nature while still having a sense of connection. With a few nearby neighbors, open views, and the forest edge nearby, you can enjoy the peacefulness of Alaska without feeling completely isolated.
From your deck, you can watch the Alaska Railroad pass by while enjoying mountain and forest views, with the Eagle’s Nest visible across the way. Wildflowers grow throughout the property, and in the spring you can explore the creek and small waterfall. During the summer, relax to the calming sounds of the water and keep an eye out for Alaska wildlife, including moose and other animals that occasionally wander nearby.
We love that our guests can experience the adventure of Seward while having a peaceful place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the natural beauty that makes Alaska so special.
What makes this property unique
Why We Are Unique
Last Frontier Lodging offers a different kind of Alaska experience — modern, thoughtfully designed accommodations that blend comfort, style, and the beauty of the outdoors.
Our tiny houses are not the typical rustic cabins you may find in Alaska. Each space was thoughtfully designed and built with attention to detail, creating a cozy yet modern retreat where guests can relax after a day of adventure.
We love that our guests can experience something unique: staying in a beautifully designed tiny home while still enjoying the natural surroundings of Seward. From private decks and outdoor gathering spaces to mountain views, nearby wildlife, wildflowers, and the sounds of the creek, every stay offers a connection to the Alaska we have loved for generations.
We focus on the little details that make a stay feel special, including thoughtfully stocked spaces, comfortable amenities, and a dedicated coffee and tea corner with a variety of options to enjoy while taking in the beauty of your surroundings. Our family is hands-on in caring for these spaces, including much of the cleaning and preparation between guests. We strive to use more natural and eco-conscious products when maintaining our accommodations, helping us be mindful of the beautiful environment we are fortunate to share with our guests.
As a local, multi-generational Alaska family, we are involved in creating and caring for these spaces from design and building to hosting our guests. Our goal is to provide a welcoming place where couples, families, and groups of all sizes can create lasting Alaska memories.
