Beautiful Tiny Cabin Nestled in the Nantahala National Forest at Lake Nantahala
This unique tiny cabin, nestled in the Nantahala National Forest, is located right off the shores of beautiful Lake Nantahala. Although small, this cabin offers all the comforts of home. Each cabin on the property has a queen-sized bed that can sleep two adults plus a futon upstairs and a plush, comfy sofa downstairs. Our cabins also have a full bathroom with shower, kitchenette with a coffee maker, stove top, mini fridge, and microwave, outdoor seating, gas barbecue, and a fire pit.
Along with your comfy cabin experience, the area surrounding Wayah Ridge Escapes is a prime destination for outdoor enthusiasts. With the Nantahala River and Lake Nantahala nearby, adventure is at your doorstep with access to boating, fishing, jet skiing, hiking, white-water rafting, and more.
Although we love to fire up the grill with some BBQ fixins, our favorite eatery is just a mile down the road from the cabins at Lake's End; we have a particular fondness for the unique dish they've created with fried green tomatoes. They're open throughout the peak season from April - November and they stay packed because the food is consistently good.
We love the peace and serenity of our mountain hideaway in the forest where you can disconnect from it all. However, Nantahala offers a multitude of activity for the adventurous at heart. Catch a Lamborghini car club roar through Wayah Road, lounge at Lake's End to boat watch, or take a guided, scenic UTV tour through the forest to find majestic views unreachable by car; there's so much to do while you always have the option to do nothing but relax, rest, and restore.
Bonus family favorite for us: Misty, mountain mornings with a freshly brewed cup of coffee on the deck. Ahh, we can hear the birds chirping now in the crisp, clean morning air.
