The location was perfect for dining and site seeing in Ann Arbor. The host was great, keeping us well informed and responding to questions. Lots of room to accommodate our four couples. Very large kitchen with everything one would need. Highly recommend.
The property was amazing. The view and the house was perfect for our family. Host was responsive and the hospitality was exceptional. The deer in the back yard was a bonus!
Very nice home, great view to the lake. Saw deer, geese, ducks, hawks, and various other animals. Peaceful sitting by the fire down by the lake. Great kitchen setup. Everyone loved our stay.
Fantastic house and property tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Ann Arbor, but close enough to get there when needed. The hosts provided helpful activity and restaurant recommendations in the area and were very responsive/communicative. Highly recommend!
The property is beautiful and the hosts were wonderful. We had one difficulty and they came out and resolved the problem that day. We had a wonderful visit!
Stunning home in a beautiful setting with ample room for family to enjoy and gather. Hosts are helpful and accommodating. We would definitely rent this home again. Dottie M
Phenomenal comfort, cleanliness, style, amenities including coffee wall--immense living space, beautiful private lake view with fire pit, covered patio and 2nd floor balconies. First rate accommodations for our group of 3 couples and 2 singles. Highly recommend.
We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, spacious, and comfortable everything was. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, but the main living areas were also perfect for relaxing and spending time together. The lake and wooded setting made the home feel peaceful and private, which was exactly what we were hoping for. We especially enjoyed how quiet it was, while still being close enough to everything in Ann Arbor. The house felt thoughtfully designed, well cared for, and truly luxurious without feeling uncomfortable or overly formal. Check-in was easy, communication was great, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. This was one of those places that made the trip feel extra special. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Ann Arbor area.
The property is beautiful, upscale and the location is great! It served as home base for our wedding weekend in Ann Arbor. 12 adults and 2 children (21months, & 4) Plenty of space with an aesthetic background to host our welcome dinner, and for getting ready on wedding day. Jake and Megan are phenomenal host! They are down to earth, followed through and thoughtful. They gave the best recommendations, and were very responsive, which really helped up plan for our stay. Couldn’t recommend enough!
Overall a great place. The home was stunning, inside and out. Some highlights were:- The hosts were very communicative and quickly helped us with our questions/concerns! They may have been the best we've ever had!- THE COFFEE MAKER! Wow! So fancy and fun to use! The wine chiller was wonderful as well!- All of the space and natural light. The windows are floor to ceiling which floods the home with beautiful sunlight.- Lots of small kitchen appliances/utensils available for use.- There were extra sets of linen and towels that were readily accessible if needed.- The location on the lake is wonderful! I've never seen so many fireflies!A couple quick suggestions:- The bathroom sinks had automatic faucets which was fantastic! We would recommend that instructions are posted either to explain how to change the temperature or change to a faucet that is easy to control temperature.- We would recommend putting in bar to assist getting in/out of tub in upstairs bathrooms.- The instructions left in the house manual let us know that we would need to turn the showers on for a few minutes before showering in order to get warm water. That was certainly the case for all but one shower. I don't think that shower produced warm water at all during the stay.- There were no less than 15 fan/ac controllers in the house and we didn't see a label on any of them. We also had to rearrange which controllers went where because they were not left in the correct spot. Thanks again!
