Current River is waiting for you at this newly built 4 bedroom-2 bath RIVER FRONT HOME . Spend the evening on the deck while you grill some burgers. Hang out on the gravel bar that offers great swimming with minimal current that’s great for kids. The river is only a few steps way and we also have a great seating area down stairs with fire pit. THIS CABIN IS RIGHT ON THE WATER. YOU ARE JUST 100ft from the river with great swimming and hardly no current and great for kids ! Just 3 minutes from Van Buren and 5 minutes from Big Springs National Park. House is just 1/2 mile down stream from TheLanding .

The place was large enough for four couples for a weekend float. Being right on the river was beautiful, and the guys fished early each morning. Unfortunately, the short walk to the river included brush and somewhat steep terrain, so the rest of us watched from the deck. Being so close to The Landing was excellent. There were units on both sides of us but not too close as to be loud or disturbing. The beds were clean and comfortable. The included keys in the kitchen drawer are for the two bedroom deck doors, not the main door. Included firewood was a nice touch. There were a number of small bees on the deck, but no one was stung. Just watch your soda cans!

There is a lot to love with this house, but at 800 per night, it fell short of our expectations. The house was very clean and spacious. We especially loved the outdoor space and river access. While the house is suited to hold 8 people, there was very sparse furniture throughout the house. It also had no window treatments or curtains on the two front bedrooms that face the deck. So each room has two large glass doors directly exposed to the outdoor deck area that is accessible to the entire house, leaving no privacy during the day and exposure to sunlight in the early AM. The kitchen was mostly well stocked, but missing baking sheets and had no dishwasher liquid so we had to do dishes by hand. We messaged the host about the missing soap and never heard back. Lastly, we didn't have any keys to the property, so we had to leave the doors unlocked while away. Overall, this house was a great location and well suited for our trip - it just lacked a few details you would expect, especially at this price point.
