Formerly known as Lakeview Manor with Destination Big Bear, Windsong Solstice is now under new ownership! After given much love and care, this incredible 4 bedroom luxury cabin located in the prestigious Castle Glen Estates in Big Bear Lake has been updated to a modern luxury cabin.

Come and enjoy this home nestled on a cul-de-sac overlooking beautiful Big Bear Lake. Located in Big Bear Lake, CA, only 100 miles east of Los Angeles, 150 miles from San Diego and just 5 minutes to Big Bear Lake Village. This property is in a great location within Castle Glen Estates and close to the marina, golf, village, Bear Mountain, Ski Summit and major grocery stores.

Upon entering the home, you will feel the privacy and tranquility of this majestic mountain getaway. The main floor has an open floor plan with a full eat-in-kitchen opening up into a sunny living room. A wall of windows allows views from almost every seat in the house. The main floor also includes one bedroom and one bathroom. The sunny bedroom has sliding doors opening out onto the patio overlooking the lake and includes a king size bed.

The upper level has a large great room with vaulted ceilings and is great for watching movies, playing games, reading a book or just relaxing. It also offers a desk for those occasional work calls while away from the office. Three bedrooms (all with king beds plus one with an extra bunk style twin) are on the upper level. The main bedroom includes a fireplace, private balcony, sitting area, jetted-bathtub and incredible lake views. This home can accommodate more than one family or just a couple looking for a getaway to relax.

Additional features include large private deck for grilling and dining, ping pong table, foosball table and mini pool table and let's not forget that the home has a 3-car garage - a luxury in the winter! The wrap around deck offers panoramic lake views as well as views of Snow Summit ski runs. Service for 11 including linens for all beds, bath towels and dinnerware. There is plenty of space to spread out.

This lake home is centrally located in Glen Castle Estates off of Big Bear Blvd and Stanfield Cutoff in an area known for great fishing and close to restaurants, marinas, major grocery stores, and more.

Everything was excellent!! The host was super nice and she also has someone local who can help with anything and even give you tips!!The cabin is beautiful and super comfortable!! Because of the open concept you can feel like you’re all together no matter where you are which is nice for big families since you never feel like you’re missing anything you can still feel part of the fun even while cooking! Definitely recommend and hopefully can come back!!

What a view! The description and pictures did not disappoint. From the time I reached out to the owner, I knew my girlfriends and I were in good hands. She was very responsive to my every question (and I can ask a lot of questions) and made the booking process super easy. Once we arrived, there was even a local guy there available if something went wrong. Luckily, we didn’t have any issues and were able to enjoy our time away.The house itself is great. Very open, homey and it felt like I was at my friend’s house. The décor is what I would call mountain chic. Every bedroom has a king bed as well as a big TV. There were a couple of living areas to relax in, and the kitchen was fully stocked. There was also plenty of room for us to cook big, family sized dinners. The location was perfect. The 2 main grocery stores are super close. The ski resorts (you can see them from the house) where we hiked and even went mountain biking are about 5-10 minutes away. We even walked down to the preserve boardwalk for a nice, leisurely walk. When we wanted to explore the village, it took us less than 10 minutes to get there by car. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Big Bear Lake then do not hesitate to go here. I know I’ll be back.
