Welcome to Forest Lake Lodge— a cozy 2BR/2BA cabin just 2 miles from Marcell, MN. Nestled on quiet Forest Lake with a wood-fired sauna right on the shore.
Enjoy easy access to snowmobile and ATV trails, plus great fishing and boating. Explore hundreds of nearby lakes in the heart of Itasca's lake country. Perfect year-round getaway for outdoor adventure and relaxation.
Whether you're seeking relaxation or outdoor thrills, Forest Lake Lodge offers the ideal escape.

I give guests plenty of space to relax and unwind, but I’m always available if you need anything.
If there's anything that could make your stay more comfortable, just let me know—my goal is for this space to feel like a true escape and retreat. I’m available anytime for emergencies, and during regular hours for any non-urgent questions or issues.
It’s super helpful to have good contact info for someone staying at the cabin, just in case I need to reach out with important updates or to resolve something quickly. If we ever need to stop by, I’ll do my best to let you know ahead of time and will always keep any disruptions to a minimum.

You’ll have full access to the property, including the house, garage, and lakeside sauna—make yourself at home!
Check-in is easy and convenient with a keypad for self check-in.

Security Cameras: For your safety and the protection of our property, we have exterior cameras monitoring the front entry & parking area only.
Boat Access: You’re welcome to launch a boat up to 16 feet in length from our shoreline and use the dock. Please note, Forest Lake is small and not suitable for larger watercraft. There is no public boat launch on the lake.
Sauna Use: The lakeside wood-fired sauna is available for your enjoyment. Please review and follow the provided instructions carefully, monitor the fire closely, and do not overheat. Kindly clean up after use. **Please note, the idyllic location of the sauna, right on the shore of the lake, does occationally result in some light flooding of the concrete floor**
Property Maintenance: Lawn care and snow removal services occur weekly or as needed. The owner or a provider may be onsite for 1–2 hours during your stay, depending on weather and conditions.
Watercraft & Safety: Kayaks and life jackets are provided. Use at your own risk—please follow all local laws, wear life jackets, and observe water safety at all times. We are not liable for any injuries or incidents on the water.
