Private 58-acre regenerative farm with newly renovated house. Modern amenities incl AirPlay music, fast WiFi, fireplace. King primary bedroom + en-suite; queen second bedroom; "The Nook" with lofted full bed. Large porch; ample parking; firepit with grill ready for hyper-local meat! Enjoy the property: play in the creek, hike the forest, scramble up the big hill, sight wildlife, see our livestock, climb trees, picnic, tire swing. End the day rocking on the porch and enjoying dramatic pasture views.

Strict no-smoking policy on the entire property. Violators of the no-smoking fee will incur a deep-cleaning fee of $500.

For the comfort and safety of all guests and neighbors, this property has a Minut sensor that monitors noise levels and environmental conditions (no audio or video recording). It is located in common areas only.

Pets, especially dogs the cattle are not familiar with, can stress the livestock, so PETS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED from the property.

Beautiful, comfortable property! We loved spending slow mornings watching the cows and wildlife on the porch and roasting marshmallows over the firepit at night. Both the adults and the kids had a lovely time.

The property was charming and situated on a quite beautiful farm. Everything was clean and looked as cute as the pictures. The fire pit was a welcome addition to our evenings and the host was vey quick to respond and friendly.

We were looking for a quiet place to get away as a family and this property did not disappoint. It was a nice, clean and comfortable home. We enjoyed grilling, relaxing around the fire pit and on the porch, and going for walks around the property. It’s out in the country so there’s privacy and quiet but it’s also so close enough to town if you’re looking for things to do. Also close to Cacapon State Park! We would definitely go back.

Absolutely amazing! We were greeted by 8 white tail deer as we entered the driveway. The view and peaceful surrounding s immediately put you in a zen place. The house, THE BEST! From the warmth, to the decor, comfortable beds, soak tub, and stocked kitchen, the host Jeremy has taken it to the next level! I can’t wait to come back!!!

The location is perfect, just a short drive to Berkeley Springs, but far enough out that it is serene. The view of the fields with cows is ideal for a getaway from a hectic schedule. The house is clean, charming, and efficient.My favorite is the Nook and the little powder room on the first floor. The Nook is on the first floor and perfect for kids. We will be back.

Great stay at The Cowbell! Beautiful place and scenery, plus you get to watch the cows graze every day. It is truly a delightful place that's centrally located between the "city" part of Berkeley Springs and Cacapon Resort State Park. Nice and quiet, but with all the perks of modern living, including a well stocked kitchen (bring your own food). Lots of room for a family, the nook off the living room is a great little cozy place to curl up and read a book or take a nap. I had a few questions and Jeremy (the host) was fast to respond and very nice. We got to meet one of the farmhands, Brett, who is a super nice guy. We learned a bit about the farm and got to roam the grounds, including going up the hill at the back of the property, which was an adventure in itself. Can't wait to come back again and stay in this little piece of paradise.

We absolutely loved the property. As soon as we opened the front door, we found the home to be clean and just as it's advertised. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice, home cooked meal. The beds are extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are amazing and have such a modern feel while still having some that good to be home feel. We definitely recommend this home to anyone who wants a nice getaway with amazing views, comfort, an outdoor firepit with comfortable chairs and so much more.

We had a great stay at Cowbell. Jeremy was prompt to answer any questions we had. The house was clean and plenty spacious for our family of four. We have college aged children and they had a fabulous time. We hiked the property, had a few bonfires, used the tire swing, and played cards at the spacious table. We stayed a week and we didn’t need anything. We spent time in downtown Berkeley Springs, visited Harper’s Ferry, and did some hiking at Cacapon park. If you’re not used to farm life, be aware that there are bugs, we picked up a tick hiking the property. We had some bugs at night inside, but the owner does have traps around to help with that. It didn’t bother us, I just know not everyone is used to farm spaces. I was not prepared for the “goat path” roads in the area, be sure you travel slowly. I would definitely recommend staying here, we had a fabulous time and enjoyed the peaceful tranquility of the farm and the gorgeous sunsets along with the wildlife visits.

The town has just enough shopping and restaurants to give you somewhere to go if you care to leave the property.

What makes this property unique

Very pretty and private. There is a creek on the property that runs near the western side. There a natural springs in the pasture that the cattle often drink from. There are cool shale rock formations on the property. My kids enjoy finding fossils on the sizeable hill.
