Welcome to Courchalet - Your forest boutique hotel.
Nestled in the pines between Nevada City & Grass Valley. We built it for our own family with safety, peace & comfort in mind.
We carefully designed every detail with no compromise: natural materials, panoramic windows, custom plasterwork, thoughtful lighting, & soft textures.
Though you're surrounded by nature, local restaurants, shops, wineries, & beautiful Rollingwood Reservoir for swimming & boating are all within 15 minutes or less
Courchalet is a two-story, design-forward smart home that blends European elegance with California freedom.
With four uniquely styled bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a private elevator, three patios, and a hot tub under the trees — the house is perfect for families, couples, or friends seeking beauty and calm. Sleeps up to 10.
For entertainment you will have a large living room with huge TV, wood fireplace and a pool table.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please don’t rearrange the furniture. We kindly ask you to put your trash out (trash/recycling bins are by the gate).
Please put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and used towels in the washer
Please lock the lower and patio doors and when ready to leave say “Goodbye, Alexa”. It will turn off all lighting in 5 mins and set the thermostat to away mode. Press “lock” button on main door lock
The gate will open automatically. If it closed before your car, you can either back up and try again or use pedestrian gate to come outside the gate and enter the code #4143
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
