The house was quaint and comfortable. It was very well stocked with everything we needed. I had to make a few things for our Thanksgiving dinner and found pots and pans and all the kitchen gadgets that I needed. We will stay here again when we visit our daughter.
Yes everything was very clean and they have everything we need in the kitchen and plenty towels, blankets. We missed one long mirror. It was raining so we didn’t stay another day. Thank you very much.

The house was very comfortable with everything we needed. It was an older house but every thing worked. Brady was easy to reach and was eager to take care of any issues that would come up (non did). We will use his cottage when we come back to that area, which we will as we have family living 3 minutes from the house.
Was very happy at this property! They accommodated me with my two cats, and provided a lot more than just a place to stay. All the cupboards and fridge were well-stocked, even including frozen burgers, and a K-cup machine *with the coffee* and lots more! This quaint little cottage was clearly loved, and well-decorated with equestrian and golf-related memorabilia. He even gladly extended my stay when I needed it. Thanks, Brady!

So glad you enjoyed your stay!! Thanks for choosing the Treehouse Cottage !
Pet friendly.I reported about the master bedroom tv and it was never repaired. My 100%veteran 75 yr old husband had a very difficult time coming in and out the entrance.we felt very unsafe and car noises and shot guns heard through the night. The beds were very uncomfortable also. They were not honest in the pictures especially knowing a person with disabilities were going to stay. Never would I recommend this home or location.

Mam, I would like to start off by saying, you complained about brick steps being unsafe and not stable. They are Brick and mortar. Nothing about them is unsafe or loose. Never once did I say we had an on ramp to accommodate a disabled person. Nor is it anywhere in the pictures. The mattress in the master bedroom is brand new and quite expensive as well. As for the noise, you are in a neighborhood of which I have no control over . Behind the property there are woods that are privately owned and hunted during hunting season. We are in the south. I stated to you that the internet provider had been contacted the day you arrived to look into the WiFi issue in the bedroom. However I’m at the liberty of the company and their schedule. I can’t make them fix the internet at 11pm unfortunately. You were very rude and extremely judgemental. I hope you’ll look into better accommodations next time to suit your extensive needs.

Check-in was easy once we contacted the host for the door code. It was not automatically sent by Vrbo. The home was cute and stocked well. My kids enjoyed playing board games. I like the convenience of luggage racks in the bedrooms. The backyard was fenced with no gaps for small dogs to fit under. The overall cleanliness could be improved. We used the oven and microwave for cooking dinner and both were pretty dirty. There were big black hairs in the sink. Scented plug ins were used and the smell was overwhelming. The road noise was kind of loud at night and loud vehicles woke me up several times.

I appreciate your feedback and am sorry to hear of the few complaints you mentioned. I’m only aware of one single plug-in in the entire house that’s set to low, however I suppose it’s possible for someone with extremely sensitive senses to be overwhelmed by it. As for the microwave and stove I’ll mention it to my cleaning service . I did a walk through myself before your stay and did not notice any hairs in the sink. Obviously the road noise is out of my control.
But have never received a complaint about it before so perhaps it was just that particular night.

First off I will say that I had not issue with the host of the property, he did respond when we contacted him. As far as the property goes, my group of four was staying here for the Masters tournament and when we showed up there was some kind of smell in the property that made 3 of the 4 of us start coughing. The host said it was air freshener, which it could have been, although none of us believe it was, but either way the place was not for us. We ended up leaving and found another place to stay for the one night we had reserved here. None of us would recommend staying here and we all agreed it was worth it to potentially lose our money and find another place for additional funds than to stay here the night. I can't comment on the beds or anything else since we only were able to stay for about 10 minutes inside before we decided to leave. The area was not a place we would feel comfortable walking around as we drove to the property and the place was not as inviting as the pictures made it seem, especially once the smell was factored in. It wasn't the place for us, but for someone else, it may be just fine.
I pride myself on making your guest experience as comfortable as possible. I’m local and only a few minutes away from the property which is beneficial may any problems or issues arise!
Why they chose this property
It’s really convenient to historic downtown Aiken and horse country! Great restaurants and shopping!
What makes this property unique
Although it’s not a real treehouse , it feels so cozy and has great energy just like a treehouse! It’s a historic home built in the early 1900’s with original hardwood flooring and shiplap all throughout the home!
