Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
I cannot give this rental a decent review. From the floors to the bathroom, kitchen counters, inside the refrigerator, kitchen table surface all were filthy. I would think that accommodating guests with simple things like a towel rack in the bathroom, a hook to hang your clothing ect. would be there for use. There was a half roll of toilet tissue available in the bathroom for 2 people for 3 1/2 days of a stay. The towels for showering were stored under the night stands in the bedroom and were not clean. It should be noted that, yes the building is old, but guests should be informed that there are limited outlets in every room and power strip cords should be available for use. If you wanted to use the oven there were no sheet pans available for use, there were no pans for oven use at all. The bathroom tub was not clean and had hair left in it from previous guests. It is well known to us that many of the homes in this area as is in Salem, where we have traveled so many times, are old, however "old" should not mean unkept and dirty. The presentation of this place was hideous, broken shades on the windows, which creates privacy issues, the window portable air-conditioners were filthy with hair and dirt. Needless to say, we left a day earlier than expected.
