Lakeside Paradise will keep your family and friends entertained all week long! Half acre waterfront sanctuary boasts large lawn down to private beach complete with 35' dock to dive off & swim out to the anchored 8'X10' swim raft. 2 kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard, a sunfish sailboat, and a row boat will keep the whole crew out on the water. Or, relax in the hammock or chill on the patio with a view of the action 100' feet away. Clean off end of day in the outdoor shower. SoloStove Yukon firepit and firewood for your use. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. Master King, 2nd is a queen and 3rd has two separate twin over full bunk beds - one with a trundle underneath so the room can handle seven if needed! Den has a pull out sofa and a closet so can be used as a 4th BR as it's next to a full bath. Fireplaced Dining Room flows to the Living Room and sunny kitchen offering space for everyone to hang out. Spacious re-finished (2022) basement includes App-ready TV with laser remote, game table, and foosball table. Full-sized bed down there as well. Clean garage off basement contains Stiga championship quality ping pong table for the competitive bunch in your group! 5 minutes to Rail Trail for biking & walking, 5 minutes to tennis courts, 5 minutes to Cranberry Valley or HarwichPort golf, and 6 minutes to Red River Beach. No sharks or jellyfish in the lake!!

Adorable house with beach on a pristine pond

We had a great stay. The home is large with lots of places to spread out, perfect for a large family. The pond is so clear and the soft sand beach was lovely. We loved that we could visit the numerous local ocean beaches and also swim and kayak at the pond...the best of both worlds! It was a great way to spend a week.

We had a wonderful getaway here. The kids loved everything about this house and so did we. It was warm enough to enjoy the boats and roast s’mores. The house felt so private and peaceful. Wonderful!

Great fun on the pond

The house was great. Location was perfect for enjoying the Cape Cod pond. Plenty of boats and life-vests for adults and kids. Kitchen is amazingly well stocked so it was no problem cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Definitely would stay here again.

Awesome stat

We had an incredible time staying at coolwhip in Harwhich. It was centrally located to all of the activities we had planned and the house was fully stocked with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Even though we didnt get to use all of the amenities due to the weather, we enjoyed everything the house had to offer, especially the beautiful view of the pond. The homeowner was also very responsive with communications. We would gladly stay there again!

Beautiful House and Location

My family and I had an amazing time at Cool Whip! The location and house were beautiful. The pond is an amazing feature, and the sailboat was the icing on the cake! The house is located central to most Cape Cod activities. I would recommend anybody who needs to stay in Cape Cod to check this place up. I caught three largemouth bass near the dock. I used a crank bait near the surface at dusk.

We could not have had a more comfortable stay. Everything we could have needed/wanted was at the house, we loved the setup of the rooms and open living room/kitchen. We hosted dinner twice over Thanksgiving and the house was more than stocked well, which really made my life easy. It was our first roadtrip with my 3 month old and the beds gave all of us much needed sleep. Really appreciated the Truro wine - amazing touch! Would love to stay here again. Thank you!!!

Beautiful spot !

Very comfortable home with plenty of space for all. We were only 3 but could easily have had extended family and all been comfortable. True to the listing there are lots of private little areas to enjoy as well as a nice open space for cooking, lounging and dining. The host has many thoughtful and helpful touches throughout to make your stay enjoyable. The outdoor space is peaceful in a quiet neighborhood. Would love to return in the summer months to take advantage of being waterfront with all the toys needed for summer fun !

Best house we have ever rented!

This house is absolutely amazing for any family who loves freshwater adventures. The private beach is clean and large enough to accommodate sun bathing, relaxing in the shade, digging in the sand... and the kayaks, row boat, and sail boat will keep everyone entertained. The pond has a sandy bottom and the water was super clean. I can’t say enough about this place! The house is huge and has many places for each family member. The kitchen is well equipped and the extra seating with the barstools came in handy. Jerry was a gracious host and provided us with updates after the rare tornado in Harwich knocked it our power. We hope to be back next summer!!

Hidden gem!

From the moment we arrived, this place was a gem! Tucked away on the end of a quiet street, we arrived in the evening and settled into a warm and generous space, tastefully decorated with everything you would need for a getaway. The kitchen is well stocked and lovely to cook in...plenty of room and light. It was such a delight to see the lake from the living room on the first morning, always present and calming. Visiting with my parents, we had good times kayaking, playing bean bag toss, walking on the nearby rail trail, and exploring the environs. Everything is a close drive from this location and can certainly accommodate a nice crowd but with many rooms and places to be - decks, side rooms, outside patio, beach. The owner was also very responsive while we were staying there with any questions we had. Would highly recommend to families looking for spot to get away on the Cape!

The Perfect Getaway

The Cool Whip is the perfect getaway home. It’s centrally located and easy to travel up or down the Cape without being stuck in a vehicle too long. Shopping and restaurants are near by if you need anything. The beach and access to Bucks Pond for boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, etc. is perfect. Home is very charming. Unique layout, and provides for a very comfortable and relaxing environment. Jerry is very communicative and attentive to questions or concerns. You won’t regret renting this home for your Cape vacation. It may actually be one of your best experiences. You really can’t ask for much more. Thanks for everything, Jerry! We’ll be back!

Wonderful family getaway

We spent a wonderful week with extended family. The house is spacious, with lots of room for everyone to find quiet and privacy, and the gathering spaces inside and outside have lots of room for a crowd. The kitchen is well equipped and the grill was new and easy to use. The pond is beautiful and we spent time there every day, playing on the beach and dock, swimming and kayaking. Proximity to the rail trail, Bay and coastal beaches and Brewster and Chatham made for so many adventures. The owner readily responded to a few concerns about cleanliness and recommendations for cleaners to attend to in the future. I would also suggest investing in a dehumidifier and running the a/c through the more humid months to combat mildew that is inevitable in a Cape home. We hope to return for many more summers!

Excellent home, yard, and pond, and very responsive owners.

We truly have nothing negative to say ... The dwelling is very spacious, clean, and very well equipped with practically anything you can think of for a vacation stay. As the description states, plenty of room to gather in large groups, or to hide and read a book. It is conveniently close to the highway and shopping areas, but once you get there, you would not know it. The backyard is nicely gardened, fenced-in, and feels very secluded/private. The beach area and dock (and floating dock) provide great access to Buck's Pond. Buck's pond is great for swimming, kayaking, and bass fishing ... we caught several VERY NICE BASS off the dock in the picture! Lot's of interesting birds and wildlife in the area ... even a coyote! Lastly, the owners are super organized, and very communicative prior to and during our stay ... really wanting us to enjoy our stay at their great house. They were very responsive to the few questions that we had during our stay. A+

Great quiet spot

We went for a girls weekend & fit 5 of us comfortably. It was so nice having 3 bathrooms and the way the house is set up, the living room and kitchen are on the other side of the house from the master & another bedroom so if some of us got loud, those who went to bed early couldn't hear us. We were excited to use the paddleboards & solo stove, but it rained while we were there. It would have been so nice to sit outside with a drink as they have string lights, but it rained almost every weekend this summer. We all said this would be a great place to enjoy over the summer with our kids as it was private and had everything we needed. There was enough parking for all of us, 2 right in front of the house, we did not use the driveway as it scraped the bottom of the car backing out. Its on a dead end so some of us parked there, next to the backyard & we brought our things in through the sliding doors. They left us a gift which was very thoughtful. Jerry communicated a lot with me before & after we returned to make sure we had everything we need. We also were able to get into the house a little early which was nice. Jerry is very flexible and easy to work with. Highly recommend this home.

Been coming to Buck's Pond since age 7 and with a very large family have always loved the lake, the views, the water activities, the local Cape flavor, and we know now we can make that happen for our kids and grandkids for decades to come.
