6/10 Okay

We stayed here so we could listen to our son play in a band nearby. There were 6 of us, ranging 55-77 years old. The bottom bunk actually sits on the floor so while we were worried about climbing up, the real concern was getting up off the floor. The stairs down to the bunk beds are treacherous with uneven stair treads (some narrow, some deeper, some higher and some lower) and loose carpeting. There are no doors to separate bunk bedroom from the stairway or the empty oblong room facing lake AND no window treatments on downstairs windows. It was a bit awkward changing/sleeping. The layout of the place is interesting with bedroom B nestled in between the bathroom and bedroom A. Bedroom A has a sliding barn door separating it from the kitchen. The kitchen had a full set of dishes and cutting boards, but no frying pans or cookie sheets to actually cook/bake. (We went to the Dollar Store and "donated" 3 fry pans to the house.) The water is not hooked up in the refrigerator; bring your own ice and water. Probably most notable is there is no identifying information (house number) on the garage or house. You have to venture into the breezeway to "try" the code and see if it is the correct house. (Breezeway has all uneven flooring.) Bottom line: did it meet our needs? Yes. Did we enjoy dinner before going to listen to the band? Yes. I believe this is a newer listing and am trusting our feedback will be found useful.
