We have rented many homes and cottages through VRBO - this house and propertyare exceptional - we would not hesitate to rent this property again - it was hard toleave - we had great communication with the owner Joan - she answered all ourquestions - it has many additional features not available in other homes

Amazing

Such a beautiful place to stay. Picture perfect sunsets and serene settings inside and out. The cottage has everything you need and much much more. The hosts have truly thought of everything to ensure fun is had by all.

We loved this place. It was very neat, tidy, and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and frying pans. There was lots of seating outside. The outside area by the lake could use some TLC. Lots of weeds. The host was very accessible and had our problem solved immediately. Check in was easy peasy. What can I say we loved this rental and will be back. Thanks Joan.

Thank you, Marie. We are so happy you enjoyed. Just an explanation about the exterior. We go out every May to plant, pull weeds and make sure our home looks the best for the summer. We are booked back to back from May until October. Unfortunately the weeds grow quickly and we certainly don’t want to disrupt or invade the privacy of our guests. I’m not sure how we can solve this problem, but we will try to do better. Thank you again for staying with us, you are welcome back anytime.

Incredible

We had the best time, the only thing that would've made it better was staying longer. We were looking for a very low key, relaxing vacation and this was the perfect place for that. Joan and Rob have thought of everything you may need during your stay (condiments/dishes, plenty of towels, comfy linens/blankets, board games & books, bug spray). We loved how private the yard is, enjoyed using the hot tub, and the views can't be beat. There are several towns with good restaurants and places to explore within 10-15 minutes. We can't wait to stay again!

the best ever!

the house was better than pictured. It was incredibly stocked. Taste and decor top notch. The fire pit was so well enjoyed and loved the varied sitting areas. I really can't say enough about this place. we certainly will be back. Joan was great and ensured we had comunication. We enjoyed traveling around the area and wineries but loved getting back to enjoy our little piece of heaven.

Family Visit

We stayed here this last week. This cottage is a comfortable size, with a more than adequately stocked kitchen, (I was so impressed!!) ... in a quiet area, with an absolutely amazing view of Lake Erie!! Check-in was easy and quite fast. Joan, our host, was great to work with and answered our questions fast. We were here with my 84 yr old Dad and had family close by that came to visit. Our trip was about being with family so it was pretty low-key and relaxing. Both beds, including the sofa bed, were quite comfortable. There are plenty of chairs to sit around the firepit for visiting, watch the ships go by in the distance, or watch the gorgeous sunsets!!! Overall, we'd definitely consider renting this cottage again.
