We were in town for Riot Fest. This location was perfect! The apartment was clean, comfortable, in a great location and came with parking. We would for sure stay here again. Lots of great restaurants in the area, too. Overall, a fantastic stay.
Loved our stay. Everything was clean and well maintained. Communication was very efficient and helpful. We called it our basement slumber party. I would note that if you are tall (probably 6 feet or over), the ceilings are very low so this might not be the best place for you. Truly 20-30 minutes from downtown and no trouble getting an Uber ever. Garage was perfect. My mid- size SUV fit great. Would stay here again.
Clean and well stocked unit. It was a warm weekend in Chicago so the unit wasn’t overly cool, but the host was responsive with some suggestions to help.
The property was very clean and the garage parking was a huge plus. Only about 20 minutes to downtown. Bathroom and kitchen had modern updates and lots of utensils and cookware in the kitchen. Neighborhood was quiet, we slept well, no complaints!
The apartment was very clean and as pictured however it is a basement apartment which might be a negative for some people. It’s in an older residential neighborhood. Reserving and check-in went very smoothly and the price is reasonable. It was very convenient to have garage parking. The kitchen is well equipped with a nice coffee machine and a washer/ dryer . It is spacious enough to easily accommodate three people.
The photos don’t do this place justice. This is one of the most thoughtfully prepared spaces I’ve stayed at in many countries. The beds were comfortable with nice bedding. The kitchen was overly equipped. The bathroom was fantastic with great towels. The work space was a nice addition to keep up with work emails and take a few quick calls. The artwork has history and a story to tell. Overall it was just really great and I wish the photos told the story of the space. Only word of caution, as a taller person, there are a few places where duct runs through you need to watch your head. But honestly just a really generously and well done space.
The property was clean and well maintained. Vicky was prompt with communication, and available for any questions throughout our stay. This property was in an ideal location, as it was close to a grocery store, and other restaurant/bar establishments within walking distance.
Overall, the basement level apartment was very clean, although noise from the apartment above was a bit loud at times. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and was easy access for us to get to the places we needed to go. The contact person would get back to us at a reasonable time. Having the garage to safely park my car was a definite plus.
This was home for my family of four for two weeks while we visited Chicago, and it worked great for us. Generally everything matched the descriptions including the minor warnings:* Vicky was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable, including remotely setting the AC a bit cooler when we were feeling warm* Some low clearance in spots, but we never bumped our heads* Occasional sounds from upstairs neighbors, but nothing excessive* We kept our car in the shared parking garage, no issuesThe location felt very family-friendly and we enjoyed walking to restaurants and Mozart park nearby. We would stay here again!
Excellent experience! The place was spotless, impeccably clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. Having the garage option was excellent and gave us great peace of mind to enjoy the city, knowing we had a safe and fixed spot for our car at the end of the day. The location is great, with many shops and restaurants within short walking distance. Additionally, Vicky was a very attentive and communicative host before, during, and after our stay. Highly recommended!
Clean, quiet, comfortable, smooth check-in and communication with host. Was a little surprised to find it’s a basement unit, but it was fine. That might have been for the best in the summer to help it stay cool. You can’t independently control the AC, but it was set comfortably and the host was responsive to adjust it if needed. Quiet neighborhood, residential for several blocks around. A main thoroughfare is a few blocks away with some dining options, but the house is a decent hike from bigger commercial strips. I went at an expensive time of year, and the cost was in line with other places I found at the same time. Generally, though, I’d hope to find something a little less expensive. All around good experience. I only had a car one day of my trip, but having a car and using the included garage space would probably be the best way to go.

Disliked: Location
Basement apt. With family above. Host was very communicative and warned us there was going to be a graduation party one night. Very loud music and lasted til 1 am. She spoke to other tenants next day. It is a basement apt with low ceilings in some areas which was difficult for my husband who is 6’2”. Sofa in main area not comfortable. Pricey for what we got. Not near restaurants etc. Didn’t use the garage as we didn’t have a car.
My family (2 adults, 1 teen) stayed for 4 nights in June. The apartment had more than enough space to accommodate us. It was immaculate and well appointed. It’s obvious that the host wants you to be comfortable during your stay by providing extras that others have not - coffee and creamer, extra tp, laundry pods, and shampoo/conditioner and shower gel. The use of the garage was a huge bonus, knowing we would not have to search for parking and that our vehicle was secure. We did have a very minor issue in which we needed to contact the host and she was very responsive, answering within 10 minutes (the issue resolved itself and no action was needed from the host). The apartment was perfect for us to come back to after long days in the city. 10/10 would recommend!
