Oceanfront Cottage: 7 Bedrooms : Sleeps 16 : Parking for 6 Cars : Outdoor Grill

Unlike other Beach listings, our Cottage is direct oceanfront and right in the heart of Saint Augustine Beach, just a short walk to literally everything. Be careful with other beach locations where you may need to drive everywhere, or have rocky beaches or cliffs north and south of us - not at the Salty C!

Each floor of this home has its own kitchen and living areas. Downstairs consists of 3 bedrooms with Queen beds and a bathroom. Upstairs has two baths, 4 bedrooms; 1 King beds, 2 Queen beds and 1 bedrooms with 2 sets of bunk beds (4 beds - Please note that the top bunks are built for children 10 years or younger and less than 150lbs to sleep on, not for adults).

Our home allows large multi-families to have some personal space while still spending time together. Please note, there are no (internal) stairs connecting the two levels. Each level is accessed via external covered stairs. This home can easily accommodate 16 people (max 14 adults) and is one of the largest direct ocean front rentals you'll find anywhere. Our guests generally love the layout of our house, but be sure to ask about any floorpan questions you might have. Two bedrooms require walk-thru to access an additional bedroom.

We do not allow weddings or parties in the home given it is in a residential neighborhood. Guest numbers may not exceed 16 at any time, with a maximum of 14 adults (We do not allow inflatable mattresses). The home has full WiFi throughout and a downstairs Washer / Dryer for guests use. The Laundry is fully stocked with Laundry Liquid and is external to the house (but still undercover) and is easy to access inside the Carport.

We have preserved the casual cozy feeling of our 1926 built historic beach house while still giving you all the convenience you deserve. There are modern HD flat screen TV's in every living room which includes a Smart TV Upstairs for your convenience. The downstairs living room TV is ready for your gamer to simply hook-in their game console and go with a dedicated "console station" right next to the TV.

The Cottage has a Coffee Maker upstairs which accommodates K-Cups as well as brews full pots as needed. The downstairs Keurig Coffee Maker is only K-Cup.

We have ample off-street parking for (a maximum) of six vehicles on the property at any time. External parking area is monitored by security camera to ensure compliance. The beach is wide, flat and sandy - no cliffs or rocks like some beaches north and south of us have.

There is also a very pleasant undercover area for Grilling and relaxing with enough seating for your entire group. The Grill area is ready-to-go and fully stocked for you to be able to use it immediately.

- All Grill Utensils are provided plus non-stick spray & basic grill seasonings
- Beach Cart to transport your belongings to the Beach.
- We also supply 8 Beach Chairs and 3 Beach Umbrellas for our guests use
- Note: All Beach Equipment is subject to Loss-Fee Payment if Damaged or not returned.

WE ALSO PROVIDE ALL THE ESSENTIALS INSIDE, INCLUDING;
- Basic Cooking: Non Stick Spray, Spices, Salt and Pepper
- Aluminum Foil, Plastic Wrap, Storage Bags, PaperTowel and Napkins
- Ample Beach Towels are provided as well as Bath Towels
- Trash Bags and enough Toilet Paper for a 3 day stay
- Dish Soap and Pump Hand-Soap for all Sinks
- Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener
- Shampoo and Conditioner starter packs as well as hotel-sized Soap bars.
- Games, Puzzles and Books / Novels.

WHAT IS NOT PROVIDED?
- Bikes
- Boogie or Surf Boards
-There are great local companies that will rent these items to you & drop off.

Please also note: We do not rent the home to guests younger than 25 years of age and this is strictly a Non-Smoking and Pet free home (including e-Cigarettes).

The individual booking must be present at check-in (and) be a guest at the Cottage for the duration of the stay (We don't allow bookings made on behalf of others). There is also NO guest swapping or additional visiting guests permitted during your stay. The only people allowed into the Cottage (and on the property) are the guests approved from your initial booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Because of the popularity of our Cottage we have a strict cancellation policy.
- To receive a full refund, guests must cancel more than 60 days prior to check-in.
-Cancellations within 60 days of check-in will not receive a refund.
- To ensure fairness to all our guests, we strictly enforce the above cancellation policy regardless of the reason for cancellation

HURRICANES, BAD WEATHER, OR ILLNESS:
• Hurricane Threat: Hurricanes are common from June 1 to Nov 30. Refunds are only considered if:
1. A named hurricane directly impacts our property (within the 3-Day NHC Warning Cone).
2. Local authorities issue a voluntary evacuation order for our area.
• General Bad Weather: We do not reimburse for unexpected weather events in Florida outside of hurricane season.
• Illness: Pre-trip guest illnesses, including COVID, do not exempt from the cancellation policy.

THERMOSTAT
Our AC cannot be set lower than 70°F to keep the system happy and running most efficiently. This helps maintain a very comfortable space even on the hottest days and ensures a smooth, trouble-free stay for everyone.

BREAKING HOUSE RULES
We kindly ask all our guests to adhere to the house rules to ensure a pleasant stay for everyone. Please note that any violations of these rules may result in the termination of your stay at owners discretion without a refund. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Lastly, our strict no-pet policy is in place because our young daughter is extremely allergic and asthmatic, unfortunately due to the seriousness of her allergies service animals are also not permitted on the property.

We want Salty C Cottage to become the beach house that you return to as a yearly tradition. A place where you have many great memories of carefree times with family and friends. To ensure that, we have one very important rule: When you step onto our driveway, please leave your troubles behind - relax and enjoy.
