Nestled between the Catskill Mountains and the Shawangunks, the cabin is a 25 minute drive from day hiking in Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska State Park, and by the Ashokan Reservoir. Within 10 minutes there are farms, swimming holes, antique shops and restaurants. Woodstock, Kingston and New Paltz are each a 25 minute drive from the house.

Quiet and set back from a minor road, the house overlooks 3.5 acres of private property including stone walls, expansive lawn and wooded surrounds. It includes queen beds, bedroom closets, a pack and play crib, air conditioning, room heating, 2 full bathrooms - one with a tub and the other with a standing glass shower (including grab bars), wifi plus router, a wood-burning stove and plenty of logs, a modern fire pit with Adirondack chairs, multiple ways to make coffee, a kitchen stocked for cooking and "cocktail-ing", an elliptical machine, and a new deck for relaxing, socializing and stargazing.

Built in 2007 and recently updated, the cabin has modern appliances, wide-planked wood floors and Boho rugs throughout, linens and towels for every room, a Sonos sound system with multiple speakers, Fire TV streaming, board games, an elliptical machine in the basement, and a washer and dryer. In full, livable space totals 1160 sq ft and there are multiple steps up to both outside doors. As many as 5 cars can park comfortably on the property. Weekly cleaning can be arranged for an extra cost if desired.

Note, sound carries freely within the house and may not be ideal for those seeking privacy during a group stay. Moreover, only 6 people may stay in the cabin at a time (related to septic, town regulations, etc).

From NYC (GW Bridge) the drive to the house is typically under 2 hours, There is also a bus from Port Authority (to Rosendale, NY and then a 15 minute drive from the bus stop). Albany airport is 1.5 hours away.

Ideally, the owner is looking for a 4 week rental commitment but will consider rentals of 1, 2 or 3 weeks as well. They will be reachable by text/phone throughout the rental period but will also provide a local contact for any immediate issues or needs that arise. We are empty nesters who live between NYC and the Hudson Valley.

Pets Policy
1-2 small well-trained dogs ( < 20 lbs). No other pets. Note, wildlife is abundant in the area including coyotes and birds of prey.
