The space
Newly Built in 2025 – Be the First to Stay!

This stunning 4-bedroom home, completed in 2025, offers the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and outdoor adventure, accommodating up to 12 guests. With thoughtful design and modern amenities, you won’t need to leave the property to enjoy an unforgettable stay.

Main Living Area
On the first floor, the open-concept living space features a spacious foyer and mudroom, conveniently connected to a half-bath and full laundry room. The heart of the home is the chef’s kitchen, equipped with high-end Café appliances, custom cabinetry, and everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal. Expansive windows throughout the kitchen and living room provide stunning nature views, while the 24-foot vaulted cathedral ceilings and stone chimney with a gas fireplace create a cozy yet grand atmosphere. Enjoy the smart TV for entertainment or simply relax by the fire.

Bonus Loft/Game Room
The loft area serves as a versatile space with an additional pull-out couch (sleeping 2), making it perfect for reading, board games, or quiet relaxation.

Master Suite & Bathrooms
Upstairs, the luxurious king master suite offers a private en-suite bathroom, featuring heated floors, a heated towel rack, and an oversized walk-in shower with a private toilet area.

Lower Level
The lower level includes three additional bedrooms, each with its own smart TV. The first bedroom offers a queen-sized bed with views of the backyard/woods , while the second features a king-sized bed. The third bedroom is a "bunk room," with dual queen-over-twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with a large vanity and bathtub. A comfortable sitting area with a pull-out couch and a smart TV provides additional sleeping space for 2.

Outdoor Living
The meticulously landscaped yard is an outdoor oasis with a propane fire pit on a huge porch along the side of the house (easy-to-use with a switch), a natural log fire pit tucked away in the woods, a zip line, swings, and a ninja course for children and the young at heart. Entertainment continues at night as the whole yard is lite up with landscape lights.

Additional Amenities
The home also features heated bathroom floors, towel racks, luxury rain showers, a cozy gas fireplace, and central air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort. A full-size laundry room adds convenience to longer stays.

Coming Soon – Fall 2025
For even more relaxation and fun, a hot tub will be added adjacent to the patio, along with a professionally installed artificial turf putting green for hours of entertainment.

Access includes all of the property and rooms in the house besides a few owners closets for cleaning supplies and extra linens.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nordhaus! The property is very new, modern, and beautifully designed, with high-quality finishes and thoughtful details throughout. We stayed during Christmas and there were beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the house which made it extra special! Everything was spotless and felt fresh and well cared for.The house was cozy yet spacious, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was great to work with and made the entire experience easy and stress-free.We would highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

If I could give this property 6 stars, I would! Everything was great. Host communication was excellent. The property is very well thought out and beautifully appointed with welcoming and relaxing decor. Outdoors, a beautiful patio, both a wood and gas fire pit, hot tub, and a really neat children’s playground. The landscaping is beautiful with evening lighting throughout as well. Indoors, a well appointed kitchen, stocked coffee bar, and spacious living room for the whole family to gather. Bathrooms all have heated floors and heated towel bars and bedrooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable sheets and bedding. The hosts really have thought of everything and spared no expense to furnish this property. Highly recommend.

This is probably the best rental we've ever stayed at! Total luxury with heated floors, heated towel racks, luxury showers, fully stocked kitchen (induction cook top, nespresso, all the cookware/dishware), hot tub, areas outside for the kids to explore, gas fireplace, toys, multiple TVs, . Every corner of the house felt thoughtful and inviting. Everything was clean and organized. The host was reliable, kind, and responsive to any questions we had. Our kids (ages 12, 10, and 9) loved it! Within minutes of arriving they said they wanted to live there forever. 5 minute drive to Shanty Creek for skiing. Plenty of space in the entry way for donning/doffing our ski gear. We will ABSOLUTELY be staying again and already looking at our calendar to pick dates for next year.Our only feedback is for the owners to consider adding small labels to the light switches...there are a LOT of light switches and it took us a while to figure out which were which.

This review is the easiest I've ever had to write before, I'll sum this will be up in four simple words, “This house is unbelievable!” Their attention to detail and comfort in every single room (inside and outside) is perfect. My wife and I spent most the weekend trying to guess as to what this couple does for a living. Our conclusion was that he must be a builder, because only a builder would build something so perfect for themselves. Not only will we be back here when time and money permits, but if I ever make enough money to build a house like this myself one day, I'm going to come back here and steal all their ideas. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Just an overall gold Star experience. I’ve stayed in many VRBO properties over the years and this was our best experience yet. Oftentimes the pictures tend to over represent what you are getting, but not in this case. I would say that the in person experience was somehow an upgrade yet.Additionally, I can’t say enough positive words about the top notch communication with the owner. I’ve never gotten a direct number for communication before and not only did he respond promptly with the only question I had, but we have chatted some since then and he is genuinely great guy!

Our stay was absolutely perfect, and I don’t use that word lightly. From the host, to the check in/out process to the location, home and outside the experience was top tier. You can tell the owners put a TON of time thought and energy into every single detail of this house. The property and outdoor space was absolutely stunning, I felt like I was living in a magazine the whole time. Then inside was even better…the kitchen was gorgeous and fully stocked, having everything you’d ever want or need including coffee options and more, the bedrooms were cozy and clean, comfortable beds, furniture etc. and they layout of the home worked perfectly for our stay. Sometimes you stay at a place that is so nice you are almost on edge because you don’t want mess things up, this was not one of those. It was over the top beautiful and nice but also made us all feel very at home. The surrounding area is also a ton of fun, with the shanty creek resort amenities to bellaire being right down the road to torch lake being a short drive away. If I could live here, I would. But I’ll have to settle for just coming back to visit as soon as possible. I highly recommend and thank you again, Jason for your hospitality. 7 out of 5 stars!

JasonThis is my second stay at this 5 star home. Every amenity well thought and available.This family oriented home boasts immaculately cared for grounds and play area for the children, as well as a gathering place for the family just off the patio featuring a jacuzzi, bbq, propane gas fire pit and a natural wood fire pit. The rooms are very comfortable and the home very clean. I think you’ll love it just as I do.
