Located in The Preserve at Grayton Beach, a private gated community, this beautifully decorated, Pottery Barn style, 4 bedroom/4 bath private home comes fully furnished for the whole family to enjoy.

The Preserve at Grayton is a quiet, upscale community that is located on beautiful 30A in Santa Rosa Beach, just 1.5 miles from the Town of Grayton Beach where shops and restaurants can be found. The community is close to Seaside, Watercolor, and a 15 minute drive to Destin.

SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH via a private beach access nature trail in 7 -8 minutes. The beach is one of the widest on 30-A with sugar white dunes in the background. The community has tennis courts, a work out facility and two community pools available for guests. The neighborhood is surrounded by Point Washington State Park offering over 10 miles of biking & hiking trails.

The home is open and spacious to enjoy your vacation. The four bedrooms are beautifully decorated with families in mind. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. The master suite is on the main level and furnished with a king size bed, 55” flat screen and huge walk in closet. The main master bath has a Jacuzzi bath, dual vanities and separate walk-in shower. The Bunk-room (great for kids) is also on the main level and is furnished with a full on full Bunk-bed which sleeps four and a 32” flat screen. Another master on the second level is furnished with a king size bed and 55” flat screen. This master has access to its own balcony with great views of the Preserve. The fourth bedroom on the second level is furnished with two queen size beds and 32' flat screen. All in all, you can sleep 12 (8 adults and 4 children) or 10 adults comfortably, perfect for two families to share or extended families.

The main living area has ample seating with a comfy sectional sofa and 55” flat screen with Blue Ray DVD which makes this a great place to relax when you are not on the beach. Wireless broadband internet access is provided free of charge. The designer kitchen comes equipped with Stainless Appliances and Granite Counters with a breakfast bar that seats 4. A separate dining area seats 8.

The home boasts a wrap- around porch on the main level with seating area as well as an upstairs balcony to relax and enjoy the views. There is an outdoor shower for beach goers and for the outdoor cook, a new gas grill.

30 minutes from the new Panama City Beach airport (airport code ECP).

We prefer our guests to have at least one person in their party to be 28 or older. We allow small pets after owner approval. Daily and weekly rentals only. During the months of June, July and August, we only rent Saturday to Saturday. Thank You.

Family Beach Trip

Our stay was pretty perfect. We traveled with 4 young adult family members & the house is perfect for that. Everyone not only has their own bedroom, but also their own bathroom. Communication was super easy, and the instructions were all very clear. We loved the location! The walk to red fish taco was easy. We had great food & drinks, and loved listening to the live music. We also walked almost daily to Blue Mountain Creamery for ice cream. And to the little coffee shop next door in the mornings. The walk from the front porch to our spot on the beach took almost exactly 15 min. And as everyone has already mentioned, the boardwalk is beautiful. We also enjoyed the pool & pickleball courts at the Preserve. We did bring our own paddles, but had the courts to ourselves. This house is stocked with so much! Beach toys, chairs, coolers, wagon, umbrella. I can’t imagine needing anything. They’ve thought of it all. The home is large but also really comfy. All 6 of us sat & watched tv comfortably (Go Pacers!) and had some nice home cooked meals around the dining room table. With the location of the preserve near the Grayton State Park, we saw deer almost every evening. Other favorites - Grayton beach shops - Mahalo was a favorite. Local Catch for dinner was amazing. We also enjoyed a few hours in Seaside, and a few drinks at Beach Camp Brewery. We are so grateful for such a good week in this beautiful home. Hope to be back soon!

Spring Break

Our stay at this home was seamless from booking to checkout. It was absolutely beautiful, very clean, and had every amenity needed. The beds were all comfortable and everything was in great working condition. We will definitely recommend this as a vacation rental!

Nice and functional

We had a great time staying at sea la vie. The ground are welcoming. There isn’t a ton of amenities in the gated community but it did the job. There are a treadmill, elliptical, and bike, not a gym. Pickle courts were great. The pool needed to be updated. There were tiles missing on the edge. The house was functional. All the beach equipment needed to be updated and cleaned. To be honest it seemed like the entire house needed a deep cleaning and to be updated. The kitchen was packed with a lot of tools, pots, and pans. The location is quiet and family friendly. The beach is a 5 min walk, but it a bit deceiving since you have to walk a good distance one way since the area marked is private beach. There aren’t many restaurants to walk to. Even though everything was just 10-15 min drive we felt like we were always getting in the car to do anything. Communication was spot on! He always responded quickly. I would recommend changing the check in and out policy. We couldn’t check in until 4pm on Saturday which basically meant we missed out on an entire day. Something happened on the back end. We had to check out at 10 am which didn’t allow to enjoy checkout day either. Overall, we had a great first time experiencing 30A!

So comfortable

As soon as we arrived we felt so at home in this property and safe and quiet neighborhood. David, the owner, is such a plus. When the tv went out he was there the next morning with a replacement. Location to beach is great. Pretty and short boardwalk passage. Kitchen completely stocked for cooking.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the quiet neighborhood combined with the convenience of a private beach access less than a mile walk from the house. The owner maintained excellent communication to ensure check-in was flawless. We will definitely keep this one in mind for future stays!

Lovely Beach Home

Sea La Vie is absolutely wonderful! The owners provided so many items to make the guests feel right at home! The kitchen is well stocked and has so much room for guests to enjoy a meal. The house is laid out so well with plenty of space for everyone! The pickle ball courts are fun for all ages! The location to the beach is terrific with a beautiful boardwalk to enjoy along the way! We are thankful for our time with family at this lovely home!

Lovely property, much less busy than Destin area

Our extended family of 11 (grandparents, parents, and five kids) found David's house to be a great stay- comfortable, clean, large enough, etc. David is a great communicator. The neighborhood pools and tennis/pickleball courts were fun to use, as well as the 30A bike/walking trail that's just outside the neighborhood. The walk to the beach on the path/boardwalk was pretty easy- but just note that if you carry lots of stuff to the beach like we do (3 beach carts), you'll find the walk from the end of the boardwalk to the beach space you are allowed to use, a bit difficult. One has to cross a shallow area of water and trek through the very fine sand. However, that water (a coastal lake) was so fun for the kids to play in when the ocean was too rough or had marine life. Several adults in our family felt that you couldn't ask for a better beach location (ocean water AND shallow coastal lake) for having young kids along. We are likely to be back, as long as we are up for the trek with our beach carts (more of a personal problem, not David's!).

Great Family Beach Trip 2024

Loved the house! Highly recommend! Easy check in & check out. Owner was great communicator. House was comfortable & nice furnishings. Enjoyed the large patio under the fan even when it rained a few afternoons. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was the best stocked rental we have ever stayed in. We were able to cook several meals & even did some baking. We had everything we needed. Would rent again! Love the neighborhood! Quiet & close to a couple of restaurants/ ice cream. We walked to Red Fish Taco twice. Enjoy the paved path for running & biking. Easy boardwalk walk to the beach that we enjoyed. It was a trip of adults so everyone could carry their own beach gear. Suggest using a beach wagon ( that the house had) to tote everything if you had little ones. Suggest renting beach chairs to claim your beach area & have some shade. Will rent bikes next trip too. Thank you!

Wonderful House!

This house was perfect and wonderful! Clean, great AC and furnishings were great! The kitchen was a very well stocked kitchen! Had everything we needed! Rooms were big and bathrooms were great! Made many memories here and will definitely come back! Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood and a short shaded walk to the beach! The house was welcoming, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, playing dominoes at the dining room table and watching the Volunteers win. The walk to the beach is a naturalist’s wonder. The old growth Florida forest opens to beautiful dunes and a wonderful gulf view. A great location.

Spring Break 2024 from Fort Smith AR

House is great! All four bedrooms are good size and the connecting baths for each room really makes everyone feel like they have their own space. The walk to the beach is absolutely gorgeous from the preserve to the dunes! We were frequently the only ones on the beach. It was an unspoiled beach experience at its finest.

Excellent beach stay with family

Excellent location. Quiet with multiple nearby beach access points. We were surprised by the level of kitchen supplies and items available for use. Beds were comfy with enough space for our family trip. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously celebrating two birthdays, family time, a beach bonfire and the best porch sitting with a dear loved one with late stage cancer. This house was perfect and this trip will be remembered for a lifetime by all. Thank you! It was nothing short of perfect.

Family vacation fun

We were able to have mine and my cousin’s family fit comfortably in the home for 7 days for our vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, spices, and a large fridge to store our groceries for the week. The dining table was great for meals. The bedrooms were very nice and it was so nice to have dedicated bathrooms to each room also!! The neighborhood was lovely and the boardwalk to the beach was shaded half the walk which was so nice! The beaches weren’t too overcrowded in grayton and our family had the best time!

Great House Fully Equipped

This is a great location, just a short walk to the beach. The house was beautiful, equipped with everything you might need. We appreciated that there was even a stroller we used for my grandson. Will definitely stay again. The only complaint was no window coverings in the windows that were in the showers/bath. When you shower you are looking at houses across the street and next door in the upstairs bathrooms.

Our family had a wonderful week at Sea la Vie. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. The kitchen has everything you can imagine for meal prep. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, pool, and boardwalk to the beach. We were perfectly happy with our stay at Sea la Vie!
