Well it was cool the first day or two but that’s Mother Nature! Had a little bit of a problem finding the correct trash cans to use. We found the correct place for the trash cans, but it did not have the number 176.All in all, we had a great time. The house was accommodating. The rooms were clean. Pool was great and very family friendly..

The best weekend getaway!

We had the best time at this house! The location was perfect and very close to everything! Would definitely recommend this place! Communication was very easy with the host! Would love to come back!

Grayton Beach Home

Beautiful home near Grayton Beach! Perfect for family vacation stay. Close to Grayton with options to bike, walk or take a golf cart into town or the beach. Pool was clean, spacious but not heated. If we come back to the Grayton area, we would certainly book this home again!

Wonderful property! The bikes and golf cart were great to get to the beach and the beach trolley worked well too. TV remotes did not work with TV per consultant who checked them. We loved the area and there is a lot to do.

Grayton Getaway

Property was better than advertised, home is new and in great condition. Golf cart and bikes were provided and were well used during our week. Only two minor issues, construction is still taking in the neighborhood, nothing terrible, but men working on a house next to the pool. I have to say, they did not interfere with our trip or the experience with the property . Parking was limited to two vehicles, so keep that in mind if you have a larger group. We certainly enjoyed our time in Grayton Beach with the courtesy shuttle within close walking distance.

Great Grayton

The house was beautiful and spotless. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and having the nice grill out on the back deck was a great added bonus. The pool was just steps away and was great for our girls, ages 6 to 12, to have a ball in. Would have liked to have had more towels and bath cloths as it was a little inconvenient to have to be washing them so often. Having the golf cart and bikes available as part of the deal was great also. A couple of little issues that arose were handled very quickly which was very much appreciated. Our texts and calls were answered and the issues dealt with in a timely manner. Definitely deserves a 5/5!

Great House with a few suggested tweaks

We had a great stay at this place. Certainly, the place was in 5 star condition. The pictures are accurate to what the place looks like and it’s in a great spot. If it were based on that alone, it would be 5 stars. Some issues we had were: 1. The rules were not sent to us until midnight the day before. Because we were traveling, it was almost impossible to read the rules and get them to the other individuals on the trip. So, we wished they had been sent to us earlier in order to thoroughly review. 2. The WiFi was out the entire trip and the fixes given to me by the host did not work. It wasn’t their fault that the server went down, but even once it was back up, our WiFi never came back on. For those of us who needed to do work on the trip, it was extremely difficult. 3. Parking was on the rules, but as I said, the rules weren’t circulated until a few hours before the trip so we didn’t have a ton of time to read them. After parking our cars outside overnight, we awoke to a message saying if we didn’t move the cars in 30 minutes, they’d be towed. It made the weekend a lot more difficult when we didn’t have all the cars at our immediate disposal. 4. The Golf Cart. It was great to have and super nice. Our only issue was that in order to get it, every person had to send their license (even if they weren’t going to drive). We found that to be unnecessary. All in all the house is great, but it certainly was tarnished a bit by some of these issues.

Thank you for your feedback, James. We’re glad you enjoyed the home and found it to be in excellent condition. For accuracy, check-in instructions, house rules, and parking info were emailed three times prior to arrival, with the final message at midnight sent by our automated reminder system. All required info was also in the VRBO Welcome Guide. Unfortunately, your group entered the home without submitting the necessary documents or confirming the rules, which led to a lengthy evening of follow-up. These requirements are standard for guest safety and property accountability. Wi-Fi issues were not reported until Saturday. I responded promptly and contacted a technician, but received no follow-up after requesting troubleshooting steps. There were no reported outages in the area. Golf cart access requires a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance, as per house policy and Walton County LSV regulations. These documents are standard for any rental vehicle and ensure safety and liability coverage. With a group of 11, we recommend completing all check-in info ahead of arrival to prevent delays. We appreciate your stay and agree that the process would have gone more smoothly had the check-in steps been followed.

We were honestly surprised to see a three-star review, as during your stay the only concern brought to our attention was difficulty operating the television and locating the remote control. We sent our maintenance team to the home to personally assist first thing Monday morning after a Sunday late evening arrival, who helped your party locate the remote, and walk you through the MediaCom cable system so you could comfortably use the TVs during your stay. No other concerns or complaints were communicated to us at the time, so we are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Our home is equipped with MediaCom cable and smart televisions, and while we unfortunately do not control the complexity of the provider’s operating system, we always do our best to respond quickly and provide hands-on assistance when needed. We appreciate your stay and wish you all the best moving forward.
