Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Every Thanksgiving we book house with our family. Always in Norfolk or Virginia Beach. Well, this year wasnt smooth. I didnt recived check in instructions. Texted host...no answer. Waited 40 min...no answer. Check in time had to call to tech support. Finally got the code. No instructions whatsoever how to use anything. Texted no answer, called no answer. Couldn't use Wifi first day. Dishes werent clean, toilet on a first floor was nonstop leaking, rails on a front porch falling out.... Honestly, just gave up. We had two 3 year old kids. Unfortunately, I havent notice that one of the kids spilled a little bit of apple juiceon a couch. Fast forward , received 20 plus very aggressive massages from host that her "500 rug has huge brown stain" I was like wow. I have same at my house and this is 350. Never knew that apple juice can leave huge brown stain on a rug ( when spilled on a couch) make no sense but well...When you promote family frendly house, thing like that can happen. And as a parent , I am always willing to pay for my child mistakes. host talked to me like i was her kid, and telling me what i should do.
