The mixed-use historic building has a private residential lobby with secure entry and onsite management. We want to make sure that your stay will go smoothly and that your call will be answered should you require assistance. We are available by phone and text message during your stay. My name is Lydia Fairbanks and I've been hosting short term rental stays since 2016. At first, my husband and I offered 2 suites in a building c. 1896 in Mid City New Orleans near the Fairgrounds Racetrack where Jazz Fest is held. Later, we added 2 luxury apartments in a 1859 former cotton warehouse in New Orleans' Central Business District and another room in Mid City to our portfolio.
We enjoy travel, history, nature, exercise, and like most New Orleanians, really good food! We are able to give guests their space while still being available to answer questions about our buildings, neighborhoods, and the city.

Why they chose this property

Our downtown luxury apartments are on Carondelet Street, just 3 blocks from Canal St where the streets all change names and Carondelet becomes Bourbon St. These apartments are on the historic St. Charles streetcar line and are a short walk to the Super Dome, Smoothie King Center, federal court house, City Hall, the WWII Museum, The Audubon Aquarium, and so many restaurants and music venues. The French Quarter and all of its history is just 3 blocks away.
Our Mid City location is right on Bayou St. John and has a totally different vibe from Downtown. City Park is just 2 blocks away and has numerous activities for art lovers and nature lovers. There are a dozen restaurants within walking distance of our place on Moss Street. We love hosting travelers with dogs at our Mid City suites and the dogs love walking on Bayou St. John.

Want to relax and take walks on grass? Bayou St. John is a very popular place where New Orleanians love to hang out. Just 2 blocks from the Museum/Esplanade entrance to City Park, visitors can relax and enjoy the what it means to be in the Big Easy by booking a stay at our Mid City place.
Both locations come with a load of good restaurants, history, and interesting architecture all around.
