This property is rich in historical art and culture. The setting is beautiful and mimics English countryside. Our host was kind and very knowledgeable. Would recommend.
We had a wonderful stay. Miss Kitty joined me in the morning with my tea outside in the garden. What a work of love this place is for Kurt and his mother reviving the legacy of their family. It was fun to be a part of history.

Thank you so much for all the kind words Beth. I so enjoyed having had the opportunity to get to know you and Skipper. To think our families were probable good friends hundreds of years ago! All the best to you and Skipper
We enjoyed staying in our very own storybook Gothic Tudor, which is updated with modern amenities. The bed was even more comfortable than ours at home. Coming from the city, we were delighted by the quietness of the rural location. The host kindly shared the rich history of this little artist colony with us. This is a very special accommodation.
Adorable cottage! Well stocked kitchen, great A/C unit that kept up with the heat wave, great location. 10min drive into New Hope proper. Had a wonderful time and I'll be thinking about Cugini's Italian for the rest of my life- a must visit when staying at this property!
Wonderful stay! The hosts were accommodating and I learned so much about the New Hope Art Colony. So much history here! This beautiful Hamlet at the edge of New Hope is a gem! We will definitely be back!
The cottage and the property it is on has a very old and extremely interesting history! The hosts Kurt and his mother Eleanor welcomed us with an introduction and synopsis of the property! It’s only a two minute drive to the center of New Hope but the walk there via the canal trail is the best way to go!
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped wit everything a traveler needs. Their local recommendations were also on-point. Our stay was enriched by getting to know Eleanor and Kurt and learning about the history of the colony and their family. Try to get Eleanor to talk about her New York stage career and listen to one of the songs on the 6 foot-tall disc playing music box. Great stay!
This little cottage is a place apart from the 21st century in a magical way. It is also surrounded by an informal garden, where we enjoyed reading. And it is super close to the bicycle tow path along the canal. A real charmer, and charming hosts.
Eleanor and Kurt were very accommodating and the property is lovely and you can tell by talking to them how much they love it. It is easy to see why! Beautiful area and a gem in a wonderful village. Thanks,Sandy and John
