Coyote Retreat is a comfortable, single level home in the Sacramento Mountains.
After a long day of outdoor activities enjoy relaxing in this comfortable 2-bedroom, 2-full bath house with a king bed, queen bed, and a loveseat sleeper sofa. This home, Coyote Retreat, is around the corner from Zenith Park which offers pickleball courts, tennis courts, a playground and an ice skating rink in the winter and a 5 minute drive to Ski Cloudcroft. This house is also walking distance to shopping and restaurants. If you’re wanting to stay inside you can cozy up by the wood burning stove/fireplace. Cook in the large kitchen fully stocked with dishes and pans. Watch a movie on the smart tv or play board games. Home is centrally heated, but there is no AC. There are three floor fans and space heaters if you need them. Coyote retreat has a large laundry/mud room with full size washer and dryer and enough room to store your outdoor gear. There is an outdoor patio that can also be accessed from the main bedroom. It has a picnic table with umbrella and small propane grill. (Please follow local fire safety laws.) There is a front porch with chairs where you can enjoy the ponderosa pines, maple trees or the elk and mule deer passing by. There are two parking spaces, but not enough room for trailers and there is no street parking available. Also know that there is a small steep slope to get to the parking area that may be tricky in winter. We recommend 4 wheel drive. We look forward to hosting you at Coyote Retreat!

We love staying at Rachel's cabin! It's always well stocked, very clean and has very comfortable beds and furniture. The cabin is also very welcoming with the beautiful, cozy decor. As long as this cabin is available we will stay here each visit to Cloudcroft.

Thank you, Michelle! We enjoyed hosting you too! Also, we plan on doing some more updates this summer, so you’ll have to come back and check it out.
This house had everything we needed. The owner seems to have thought of it all - even extra throw blankets to warm up with on a chilly evening. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked nicely with all the cookware we needed.

Thank you so much! I definitely have tried to think of everything. Please come stay again.
This is just perfect. The kitchen is fully stuffed, there is a grill outside and even wood for the chimney. It was nice and clean and so spacey. Perfect for the three of us. It’s an easy walk to „downtown“ Cloudcroft, there is a little grocery store and some really nice restaurants. Whenever we will be back in the area, we will definitely stay here again. It’s almost sad, that we have follow on plans so there is no chance for us to extend our stay here for another night. And Rachel as the host is so nice and lovely to chat with. Thanks again for hosting us.

Currently I live in San Antonio, TX. Our family loves to visit Cloudcroft to escape the heat and to enjoy the small town community. I love traveling and trying new foods.
