Golden Hill Farm is absolutely gorgeous. It is so peaceful and the house is absolutely beautifully restored and maintained. The check in process was terrible because of a changed access code that I did not receive and the fact that I could not reach the host for help. It was 10pm. I was lucky to find an unlocked door to gain access but in the future I would recommend that the host keep his phone turned on at all times. The host did refund me for that night without my having to request it which I appreciated very much. The first morning, we woke up to no water in the house. It was eventually fixed but happened twice more during our stay. I understand that these issues do happen and I was able to fix the water pump twice, but other guests might not be so understanding. Overall, our stay was really wonderful and I would absolutely go back to this property.
