Just five minutes from downtown Wimberley and walking distance to Market Days, this warm and welcoming 1,700 sq. ft. home is ideal for families, couples, and small groups looking to relax, reconnect, and experience authentic Hill Country living.
This beautiful home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary suite features a king bed and ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom includes another king bed, and the third bedroom offers a queen bed — perfect for families or additional guests. A twin trundle bed is located in the laundry room, thoughtfully separated by curtains for privacy and convenience, providing flexible sleeping space for kids or single guests. A separate nursery room is equipped with a crib and high chair, creating a peaceful and practical space for little ones. All three standard bedrooms feature room-darkening shades and sound machines to ensure a restful and uninterrupted night’s sleep.
Inside, the open-concept living area feels both rustic and refined, with comfortable seating, a library nook, and large windows with views of the oak-covered landscape. Guests can unwind with a smart TV and sound bar, perfect for movie nights or relaxing after a day of exploring. The fully stocked kitchen has everything needed for family meals, featuring both propane and charcoal grills, modern appliances, and a dining table for six. You’ll also find a coffee station stocked with coffee, creamer, sugar, and sweeteners to make mornings easy and enjoyable.
Step outside and discover what makes Shady Grove truly special. Enjoy a soak in the private hot tub under the stars or gather around the fire pit for s’mores and late-night stories. The front yard includes both a yard swing and tire swing, while the backyard pavilion offers shaded outdoor dining and plenty of space for games and family fun. The enclosed game pavilion includes darts, a football, cornhole, giant Connect Four, and the classic hook-and-ring game, creating a perfect setup for relaxed evenings together.
We’re happy to welcome your four-legged friends at Shady Grove! Dogs under 50 lbs are allowed, and with a fully fenced yard, your pup can feel right at home moving safely between indoors and out. With plenty of space to explore and relax, it’s the perfect spot for the whole family. A maximum of two dogs are allowed unless approved by management. And of course, owners are responsible for picking up after their pups — otherwise, we may have to charge a small “bad dog” clean-up fee (and no one wants that!).
Just minutes away, explore Blue Hole Regional Park, Jacob’s Well, and the Wimberley Square — filled with boutique shops, art galleries, and local restaurants. Wineries and distilleries like Wimberley Valley Winery, Driftwood Estate Winery, and Duchman Family Winery are just a short drive away, as are day-trip destinations like Blanco, Driftwood, and Dripping Springs.

Located on a dead end secluded road just couple miles from downtown shopping. Had everything needed for our stay. Very clean home with very comfy beds. Everyone enjoyed the home
Best beds and soft sheets await your weary head at Shady Grove. The home is super clean, three bedrooms two baths and large kitchen and living. The home is very close to town and easy to find. We enjoyed our weekend very much!

Charming and comfortable house close to cute and darling Wimberly downtown
Loved our stay at this darling southwestern decorated house. 8 of us (2 families) stayed here comfortably for spring break for 4 nights. The house was very clean and tidy and extremely cozy. The proximity to downtown Wimberly was a great bonus. We took day trips each day to Canyon Lake, Fredericksburg, and Gruene all within an hour drive...a beautiful drive! Wimberly is lovely and the people were even lovelier. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful spacious house!!! Far enough to see deer in the front yard and close enough to town and HEB!! It had all amenities needed to feel like home, coffee, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, washer and dryer etc etc......
The location was quiet and peaceful, yet close to stores and restaurants. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived and was perfect for our stay as our daughter was getting married in a nearby town. We had older guests, so one attraction was that there were two walk-in showers. We also liked the fact that there was no carpet and that the property doesn't allow smoking or pets. We would choose this house again!

The location was great, close to town and easy to find. Very cute on the outside. Loved the grounds and the outdoor areas and hot tub were well done. We would have appreciated better craftmanship on the inside but furnishings made it nice enough. The water pressure was very low in the showers and not enough to wash long hair, but there was a tub that worked. The instructions were good and everything was labeled nicely. Thank you for the stay.
