Fully renovated in 2024, Bay Town Suite is a modern luxury space at an affordable price. Walk to downtown and local beaches or take advantage of complementary bicycles and be there in minutes. Relax in the evening with a glass of wine and a fire; in your suite or by the flagstone patio. Vacation like a pro and learn where the locals go to have fun in and around the area from your superhosts. Our suite offers privacy, quality, prime location, and affordability in the heart of Traverse City.

Our private King suite includes a full bathroom, King bed, mini fridge, microwave, free wifi, flat screen tv, fireplace and more. Enjoy our spacious deck, use of grill, and flagstone fire pit for evening fires. Join us for happy hour on the patio and get the inside scoop on Traverse City from a local perspective.

Our suite is just 4 blocks from downtown Traverse City and 2 blocks to the beautiful Grand Traverse Bay, Bryant park beach. Conquer the traffic and parking by using our two complimentary bikes or enjoy a leisurely walk down historic Washington Street to shops and dining.

Important Notes: Bay Town Suite is a private guest space attached to our home, with its own entrance and no access to our living areas. Outdoor spaces and laundry are shared. We're Traverse City locals—your hosts—and our friendly dog, Yzie, may say hello!

Nicel long weekend in TC

Everything was exactly as advertised. The property owner, Jodi, is very attentive and has even created a nice short video to assist with arrival. The unit is freshly decorated and very clean. The location is great - far enough out of downtown to escape the busy, but close enough to walk if you wanted.

Safe, warm, and cozy

I had a very enjoyable stay. I love Traverse City in the winter; it's so beautiful. Jody and Norm were amazing hosts, giving thought to every detail of the stay. The fireplace was a nice, inviting touch. Everything was modern and nicely decorated but had a homey feeling as well. I would highly recommend Hospitality by the Bay and would stay again when traveling to TC!

Hi, Ben we are sorry you didn't feel the listing is accurate, though it does describe in detail, our private suite on shared property. Further we were equally disapointed that you didn't mention a major spill/mess that affected our walls, furniture, floor and bedding. We understand accidents happen, but always appreciate a heads up when something signficant occurs.

-Jody is a 26 year veteran middle school teacher in Traverse City. She is the "CEO" of Bay Town Suite/Studio (great summer job!)
-Norm is semi-retired and living his best life with our wonder pup Yzie. He delivers mail on Mondays, and is Bay Town Suite/Studio property maintenance, co-manager, and fixer of everything.
