I don't want to leave a good review because the host is going to start charging 2x and I won't be able to afford to stay here again! I didn't know Oakland. Never been here before. It was a shaky first start but once I settled in and got to know the neighborhood I can now understand it's charm. I would stay here again 100x over. Marjan and her husband were quick to communicate and take care of any needs. Fantastic hosts. 10/10. Plus the place was clean and they have the coolest toilet on earth. Just go north the first night. Not south. That's all. :)

Stayed here for a week while visiting family in Oakland. This is probably the most comfortable and functional rental I've ever stayed in. Often rentals have areas that feel they are more for pics then function, but the bed, living area, kitchen and dining space were all thoughtfully put together and comfortable to be in. The views of Lake Merritt are SPECTACULAR. The parking space was convenient to have. Marjan was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly responsive if we needed anything. A great stay!
