You’re also just minutes from the charming shops and restaurants of downtown Alden (2.3 miles) and a short drive to Elk Rapids (13 miles).

Inside, the home is thoughtfully designed for comfort and connection. The fully equipped kitchen—complete with stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave—makes it easy to prepare meals, while the adjacent dining area comfortably seats up to nine, perfect for gathering together. A convenient laundry room with washer and dryer is also available.

Excellent location and very well stocked with everything needed for an exceptional stay. Loved the fire pit area! The only downsides were the two sofas in the living room which need to have cushions re-stuffed or replaced and the lack of a private access to the beautiful Torch Lake. The house was very clean.

The home is really nice and we had a good amount of space for our families, 4 teens and 4 adults. Kitchen has everything we needed, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, and washer/dryer worked well. The garage was great for games and the front porch and backyard fire pit gave us space to enjoy the outdoors. We enjoyed our week at Torch Lake.

Perfect home for a family vacation. Location across the street from Torch Lake was convenient and access to pontoon boat rental was a plus. Torch lake cabin

The place was perfect for us. Lots of kitchen ware and great beds. We had a whole family reunion and on our night the garage and fire pit worked out perfectly. The location was excellent we went to Traverse City and Charlevoix.both about 35 m. We plan on going back.

Lots of shade in the hot weather, perfect for our family. Lack of beachy access areas was a disappointment. Despite that, we had a great time.

I am glad you enjoyed the house and property. The house is conveniently located about 200 yards from two public lake accesses. Both offer a sandy shoreline and direct access to the sandbar that stretches approx. 2 miles wide and about 800ft out along the south end of Torch Lake. The water is up to 2-4 ft. deep, super clear and the bottom is sandy. Both access points offer parking. These accesses are wonderful places to swim, play in the water, bring your SUP, kayak or inflatables and enjoy the lake. I am sorry that the access points did not meet your expectations.

I can’t say enough about Torch Lake, or this property! Beautifully clean and organized, pretty much everything you need is already here: beach towels, floats, even bug spray. The frog pond and campfire circle are ridiculously relaxing to sit aside. Owners just across the street, too! Great experience. 10/10

Great introduction to Torch Lake

The property was 99% perfection. The house was clean and spacious. Bathroom, kitchen and living room space was perfect for the 8 guests we had. The pool and ping pong really added to our family experience along with the perfect fire pit in the back yard with really gave it a camping feel. Location was ideal near the Village Market and town of Alden. The only way it could have better was if it was right on Torch Lake, thus the 99%. But for the price, the property was ideal. Loved it.

All your needs met

This house has everything you need. Plenty of space and activities to keep you busy. We enjoyed the firepit, garage games and hiking trails! She has supplied everything you need for kitchen neccessities. Everything is labeled and very organized down to a first aid kit and emergency supplies. Our only complaint is the road is fairly busy and loud which was unexpected. But that’s really the only complaint.

An excellent choice for our four-generation family vacation!

Our four-generation family stayed at this wonderful cabin and we absolutely loved it! It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Must see in person, the pictures just don't do it justice! The garage playroom was a godsend with our 2 year old granddaughter and 12 year old grandson! When the weather was a bit inclement, they had a space to burn off all of their energy! The hosts were absolutely awesome and responded to any questions we had so quickly. I raved about our stay to friends and now they're going to book this gem too!

Girls trip

Thank you Anja for being an amazing host. The home was beautiful and clean. It was the perfect place for our annual girls trip. The front porch was a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the Torch lake views. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and catching up. The link to pontoon rental was an awesome bonus.
