The cabin was a great home base for our family of 4 to explore Olympic NP. We preferred the laid-back setting compared to the hustle and bustle of Port Angeles.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay. We felt at home and the cabin was comfortable and clean. The hosts were friendly and helpful. One of the best parts was the location. You are right in the middle of the forest and beach. We saw a doe and two fawns one morning. We also walked across the street and onto the beach a couple of times. At low tide we walked down the beach and saw an otter, crabs and other sea creatures, which thrilled my son.

We absolutely loved this cabin. It is conveniently located near the mouth of the Elwha River along the beach at Freshwater Bay. From here we visited many areas in Olympic National Park including Hurricane Ridge, Lake Angeles, Lake Crescent and took a ride out to Cape Flattery. It is a short drive to restaurants in downtown Port Angeles near the pier/waterfront. We had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin is very clean, well furnished and so charming. Jean and Ricardo, the hosts were wonderful! They were so welcoming and gave us some great information about the area and suggestions of area highlights. I can't say enough about how lovely this place is. We truly hope to come back and enjoy the area and hospitality again.

Our time spent in this bright, clean, & comfortable VRBO was amazing. The space was large and had any household item you would ever need. What a plus to be so close to the beach!Ricardo and Jean were warm and welcoming hosts. They answered all of our questions and gave us great suggestions when needed.My husband and I would definitely return to this Vrbo for another stay!

The charming and whimsical Freshwater Bay cabin suited our needs perfectly. We love the mix of antique furniture as well as the art work. The cabin provides plenty of comfortable seating and also includes access to a trail to the beach. The hosts, Jean and Ricardo, are most gracious.

Great stay

This is our 2nd stay. We loved staying here both times. Great location, love the area, super close to the beach. The hosts are so nice and helpful with anything you might need. The canton is cute and comfortable with all the things you need for your stay.

Loved the beach

This cottage is wonderful! Jean and Ricardo were excellent hosts. The cottage was very clean and the full size bed was very comfortable. The location is fantastic. A short walk down a path to a rugged, beautiful beach. Hand made seats wooden seats allow for lots of time soaking in the view. Close to plenty of hiking spots. Very dark and quiet at night, with the sound of surf always just outside.

Perfect home base for a visit to ONP

Jean & Ricardo were wonderful hosts and the cabin is a cozy, comfortable central location for day trips into ONP and the coast. Beautiful setting, fully set up kitchen, laundry and plenty of space for our family of 4 with 2 adult sons. Short walk down to the beach, and could hear the waves from the porch while drinking our morning coffee. Perfect vacation home away from home!
